Some greats and some underrated films. And The Trouble With Harry....
The depth of field in Rear Window is worth it alone. You know these movies, but most of us have become used to pretty poor transfers. These are lovely to look at, even if The Trouble With Harry is more like a bad TV movie in every way. Shadow of a Doubt is one of his best; Rope is technically wonderful; Psycho is Psycho. I'd like the original Man Who Knew as well, but I'm just being greedy.

Hitchcock Blu-Ray Collection (Vol. 1)
Films:- Psycho- Rope- Saboteur- Rear Window- Shadow of a Doubt- The Trouble with Harry- The Man Who Knew Too MuchThere is a lot of bonus material included, such as commentaries and the original trailers. The discs included are exactly the same as the individual releases (so in rare cases it may be cheaper to buy each movie individually). But on the whole, this is a nice set and a good value for 7 entertaining Hitchcock films.

Great thrillers
Alfred Hitchcock I don’t think has made a bad movie. I love watching old movies especially these.

I like this Box set of DVDs very much
I like this Box set of DVDs very much: however I am confused as to why the discs with the exception of Psycho are region 2. Whereas Psycho is region 1. For me this spoils the box set. Please would you let the compilers of the set know that this is quite unacceptable.

Excllent DVD
I have always been a Hitchcock fan and to get some of his films on blu-ray was great. I bought this during the yearly Amazon sale and love it.

Great
Excellent selection of masterpieces. They really do look better in high definition. Hitchcock was a genius. I hope they do not soon invent a new disc to replace the Blu-ray.

Fast shipment, but I have been wrong, there ...
Fast shipment, but I have been wrong, there is no disc in Spanish, it is seen that I saw the collection but in bluray, and I saw that the Spanish was coming, my fault.

this set works great on a North American PS3 Slim
First off, this set works great on a North American PS3 Slim. If you're getting this set, you're probably a Hitchcock fan micromanaging for the best Blu Rays for the least cash. If this doesn't describe you, it still makes sense with the caveats mentioned below. In any case, by the time you're slightly familiar with each movie, the lack of titles on the discs won't be a big issue for you.The menus entirely made of symbols never was a problem for me either, and a small price to pay for getting this set for 20 bucks. They are very intuitive, standard Blu Ray menus, and won't throw you off if you're comfortable operating a Blu Ray player. This half simply is (save for Vertigo), the stronger part of the larger Masterpiece Collection. With all due respect to the Birds, in my humble opinion, if you buy this set, then Vertigo, then the triple set (from Warner) with North by Northwest/Strangers on a Train/Dial M for Murder, you've got all his really excellent works on Blu Ray for around 50 or 60 bucks. But it's definitely a good idea to compare it with the 14 or 15 disc collections - this set makes a lot of sense at the 20 bucks I paid for it - at 30 you might want to think more carefully and compare it to the larger region free sets.So many Hitchcocks, so little time!
