ZHX Technical Beam Set, 266 peaces. Came as described no missing parts. I have purchased other ZHX parts in the past and they all seem to be similar quality to Lego brand. This is a good selection of beams to use with your builds and fully compatible with Legos. I haven't had any problems with them so far and better priced. I would recommend them.

Initially I thought these actuators just spin the connector instead of extending and contracting. But it turns out they were just a little stiff, you just have to hold the end connector to keep it from spinning.

They are compatible with other brick sets. I gave them four stars because the plastic feels more brittle than the name brand building sets. Functionally, these gears and parts are compatible and the colors are almost indistinguishable when compared to the name brand pieces. I gave them four stars because they are a good value as replacement parts but are a little “off” from name brand.

I am happy with this set of gears and I plan to buy more in the future, it even came in a neat cardboard box.

This gears parts set is really nice and comes with a variety of useful parts. The best part is that they work great with other brand sets including Lego. No issues to report. Highly recommended!

These gears match the gears that come with Lego Technic sets and are pretty well made for the price. Some of these components are ones that are always in short supply in the official kits - such as all the gears to make a differential. So for that alone, this set is worth it at this price point.SO, what are you loosing out on compared to OEM parts - QC. I've worked with LEGO's educational kits - Technic and, more recently, Mindstorm for over 3 decades. In that time, I've had less than 2 dozen parts that I could say shouldn't have passed quality control. In the case of gear and their related parts, that usually means some rough edges from the injection mold process. In this single pack, there were 5 pieces that needed a little TLC to touch them up. Really, that's pretty good for a product costing less than 20% of the OEM parts.

I got these for a teen making more advanced builds. They feel the gears fit well with Lego technic pieces and can be used for making Lego technic cars. However, one of the pieces snagged on a Lego axle and could not easily be removed.

If you wish you had a lot more Lego gears, this would be a good add on set of gears to get. It has a good selection of gears in a variety of sizes, it does not contain other pieces such as beams or axles, so you will need some of those to fully enjoy these pieces.When you combine these gears with other technic pieces that you already have such as axles and beams you can build a variety of machines. This kit should work well with Lego robotics, and other Lego compatible based STEM activities. I was able to quickly create some differentials by adding a couple of axles to the pieces in this kit, they work well. This kit should help provide hours of fun for kids who like creating machines, robots, and cars with Legos and help them understand mechanical relationships as they study and work with technic pieces.
