Learn the hard way that they come with different sizes so I had to return but product is still great
Good product nice and thick color is on point with picture. If you have the creality printer then you have to get the smaller 1.75 filament this is too big and it won’t fit inside the hole. I’m new to 3-D printing so I don’t have a clue what I’m doing I don’t know if you could change out the whole size but it came with the smaller sample filament and it’s 1.75 as well. But for this product if you have a larger printer it’ll work great seems like it’s worth the money for the amount you get plenty of it on the roll.

Good basic filament
Nice and dry, prints well on my Ultimaker.

Great value for great filament!
I like AmazonBasics filament. Good quality for a decent price. I've gone through many rolls of PLA, ABS, and PETG and never have had any issues with any filament. There's great cutouts on the side that give you an estimation of the amount of filament left as well.

First go with PETG, and I am mostly impressed
I have a highly modified Ultimaker 2 Extended which I have normally printed all PLA on. It will reliably do 80-90 mm/s print speeds using a 0.8 or 1.0 nozzle. I usually push my machine to do medium quality, very fast prints.I have used the Amazonbasics PLA material before and seemed to have somewhat inconsistent batch-to-batch luck on ease of printing.PLA is very easy printing, but naturally has garbage mechanical and thermal properties. A friend suggested I try PETG, so I ordered a spool of this and some eSun. I want to print stuff that is mechanically more durable, but not a huge PITA like ABS can be on an UM machine without heated build enclosure. This stuff has been pretty awesome. The suggested print settings on the box were pretty close. I have been doing 230C hot end, 70C build plate on the stock glass plate with a light coat of gluestick. Fan is at 30% of max speed. I changed my first layer from 0.3 to 0.31-0.32 to prevent excessive sticking to the bed, and it has been working very well. I had read that sometimes the PETG will bond too well, so both the glue and the higher first layer setting are actually to impair bed adhesion, which seems to help slightly.Overall, the print quality has been pretty good. I still have some temp and feed rate turning to get awesome prints, but after printing a couple of allen wrench holders and some vise soft jaws, I have been pretty happy with this material and will probably order some more.It prints like 80% as easily as PLA and seems to be sturdier and has a higher GTT so it should't get all floppy and sad in a hot car.

No issues printing with this.

Honorable attempt but doesn't exhibit the same material properties as other PETG brands
I really wanted to like Amazon's filament (PETG) because I like their products and I prefer to purchase from companies I know will be around for decades. I also like the filament subscription plans offered by Amazon on select filaments like this one. I have ordered Amazon's PLA filament and had much success however this PETG is not like real PETG at all.Amazon' s PETG exhibits more material similarities akin to inexpensive PLA versus PETG.PETG typically is stringy and when stressed, should bend not explode or crack like PLA. This PETG cracked consistently, (not layer adhesion issues) regardless of extrusion temp or speed.I also had excessive warping issues with this PETG, which is abnormal for my enclosed 3d printers. If you understand material science then you would be aware that a filament manufacturer can label and name filaments whatever they technically please. Different manufacturers utilize different levels of polymers/additives and therefore end up with filaments with widely varying tolerances.Again normal PETG is sticky, almost like hot glue out of hot glue gun, and sticks to the bed with zero issues (much easier than PLA). You can bend normal PETG back and forth and it will exhibit the same properties as nylon (doesn't snap or turn white, just heats up until it separates). This PETG did not exhibit any of the normal PETG properties.I did appreciate that Amazon packaged the filament very well, in a protective carboard box, then a protective vacuum sealed package, and included a re-usable sealed package and silica. Amazon also included instructions that contain troubleshooting tips. Although I have been 3d printing for 13+ years I have never seen a company include such well detailed instructions on filament and troubleshooting tips. For the time being I would not recommend this product but I believe that over time Amazon will get the filament recipe correct with enough feedback.

Full of moisture
RailCore II 300XL, with E3D Hot end, slicer is Simplify3D, Bed 70c, hot end 236c, resolution 0.10, Speed 30 mm/s, First Layer (Height 250%, width 60%, Speed 50%), Nozzle (Diameter 0.4, width 0.40, Multiplier 0.50)I must cut my flow rate by 50% to get first layer to print without building up on my nozzle. Doing so I cannot get the 2,3, 4… layer to bond. Total waste of money.
