Fast Forward: Accelerate your spiritual life through fasting

************* LONG READ BUT WORTH IT**************I am NOT exaggerating when I say this book was written for me.Before starting this fast, I was in an incredible amount of pain in my neck and my shoulders to the point I had a fist sized, raised, red swollen knot on my shoulder. (I had been going through self-deliverance and wanting to get rid of any and all critters and believed that something was manifesting in the natural) I am not new to fasting and felt in my spirit all of November that I needed to fast. I decided to follow the Holy Spirit's leading and set out to do a 21-day fast starting December 1 and lo and behold, Vlad announced the release of this book ON DECEMBER 1!!I immediately told my husband because we do not believe in coincidence. So, I downloaded the book and started day 1 of a Daniel Fast.I dream vividly just about every night. God gives me so much insight, warnings, prophetic words through my dreams. So, I expected that I would have even more visions, prophetic dreams etc... but I didn't. Days 1-3 I had no dreams. In fact, I had an increase of demonic activity. Not things flying off the walls, but I could feel the frequency change in the atmosphere around the same time each night trying to intimidate me and tempt me to fear. I warred in the spirit and by day 3 it stopped. My neck and shoulder pain AND the knot left completely!!On day 5, the night before, I had a troubling dream that I was in a car accident. The car was rolling backwards and no matter what I did, I couldn't stop the car. (I was in the driver's seat) The car was going 100+ MPH and I knew that I was going to die. I remember thinking, "Yup, this is it. I am about to be with Jesus." As the car crashed, it rolled over/flipped 3 times and I saw someone in the passenger's seat and yelled, "How are you so calm about this? How are you just sitting there? We are going to die!" I recognized the passenger but couldn't place my finger on who it was. Everything went white and I jolted awake, my heart beating so fast and I heard almost audibly, "Are you okay?"It wasn't in the way a parent would say it out of fear, or sarcasm, or even out of human love. These three words were EVERYTHING to me. They were substance, they filled my entire room like I could wave my hand through it, it was tangible. They brought me comfort and peace immediately and my racing heart was calm in a matter of seconds of hearing those three words.I stayed up the rest of the night talking to God about my dream and received revelation and insight of my dream.The Lord revealed to me that I died to my flesh. My flesh was in the driver's seat and in control and the passenger was my spirit. My spirit was at total peace and was not fearful of what was happening like my flesh was. That day changed my life because after that day, I gained true control over my flesh.Later that morning, I began to read day 5 of this book and my jaw dropped when I read, " Fasting helps to move us from being soulish Christians to spiritual Christians by PUTTING THE SOUL WHERE IT BELONGS. IN THE BACK SEAT."Every day after day 5 lined up with what I was reading in the bible and what I was feeling throughout the fast. Around day 8, I began feeling the nudging from the Holy Spirit to do a "liquid only" fast for 3 days.I have never been able to go more than 1.5-2 days without solid food (without being sick) so this was a big deal for me as the last time I tried a 3 day fast only liquids I got really sick and weak.For the 3 days I consumed only liquids, even more changes took place. Day 2 was hard, but every time I read God's word, I was strengthened. I would write out my prayers and looking back on them, I can't believe I wrote that. By day 3 of liquids only, I felt so great I continued liquids only for a few more days after.By day 19, I was craving alllll the cravings and ready to quit early thinking, "I've made it this far, SURELY God will honor 19 days instead of 21, right?" But as soon as I read day 19 of this book, it was everything I needed to hear as well as the encouragement I needed to press on.This book was so divinely written and inspired. I cannot recommend this book enough. Not only is it packed full of spiritual GOLD, but it is also informative about how your body will respond physically to doing a fast. Yes, this book demonstrates how a fast works, but when you go in and humble yourself before God, be prepared for God to move and do BIG things in ways you never thought.

This book is amazing! Thank you Pastor Vlad! This book is helping me in my 40 day fast that God called me too! You literally described to a T how one would feel and think and how to move forward in faith and prayers, things to meditate on and think about! Fascinating!!!! I don’t think I’d be able to continue this fast without your guidance!!!! A must get for people trying to make fasting a regular part of their lives! I thank God and give God all of the glory for the blessings he has blessed you with Pastor Vlad!!! Keep going your a light to the world!

This has been a blessing to me especially through this 21 day prayer & fast. Anyone trying to draw close to God this is a great read.

This book not only taught me God’s truth about fasting and the healing qualities of it, but also inspired me to continue the process of dying to myself, my flesh.

I suggest this book for anyone doing a fast or considering a biblical fast. Also a great prayer "fast" for kids so they can safely participate.

I could not have fasted for 21 days without this book, I know because I've tried. Reading the daily messages not only strengthened me but encouraged me to continue. Understanding why you are fasting and what it does for you spiritually is a game changer. Pastor Vlad also gives tips about what you are feeling in your body, how to fast effectively, and most importantly, how to get out of the fast in a healthy manner. I'm not going to deny that it has been hard and challenging, but this book has been a help and encouragement.
