A splendid little thing. It does exactly what I wanted in the simplest possible way. It's perfect.

Desperately needed a way to stop turning off my outdoor light switch, as it was next to porch light switch, and the switchsafe is perfect for the job and a great price. I've been using masking tape but still manage to turn off by mistake meaning light won't come on at night. Problem solved, thoroughly recommend especially if you have kids or elderly who turn things off that need to remain on.

I have a Philips Hue lighting system with philips switches controlling the lights. I purchased these covers to prevent me or anyone else pressing switches and putting my Hue system ‘out of sync’. They’re extremely easy to fit: clean the area around the switch then peel off the backing paper, align over the switch and press firmly into position for around 30 seconds. Job done. It’s really important to wipe the switch down first to remove any grease or dirt so that the cover adheres securely. That’s what I did and they’re rock solid. One side is open so that you can still operate the switch if required by inserting a scewdriver or similar.Lose one star due to the fact that in my opinion, they are expensive for what they are. The do the job perfectly though and are a great buy.

These are the best switch covers I have used. They stick well and the design is excellent. The open at one side design makes them extremely versatile and so can be applied to a wide range of switch styles and sizes. White colour helps them to blend in and look neat. A simple but great product would highly recommend.

After my dog somehow leaned against the switch thereby switching off the entire broadband and WiFi on my property (which took some time to re-start) I thought a fail safe is required.I selected these switch covers. It's just as well it was a pack of two as before I fitted the first one I somehow accidentally turned off my chest freezer despite tape over the switch. It's a double socket with the washing machine.The covers have now been fitted carefully without any problems but you need to take a little care in lining them up. Best with the plug(s) connected and check the positioning before exposing the adhesive.I lost the entire contents of the freezer so these covers are a small price to pay.

Bought this for my mum who kept accidentally turning off the freezer switch instead of the light switch. Fit for purpose and has held up well for many years so far!Would be great for such occasions, as well as for airbnb owners wanting to deter guests turning off switches, elderly individuals with dementia who have a tendency to flick switches, as well as children.

Absolutely worthless if you’re looking to use them to stop a small child flicking a switch on and off. The adhesion is so poor, my 18 month old was halted for about a quarter of a second in his pursuit of turning the lamp on and off at the wall socket.These would likely be fine if you were trying to dissuade a reasonably well behaved adult though
