Used along with Zalman FanMate and opposite cable to slow down Bitmain AW3++ PS fan. Works Great.
I can remember quieting down my CPU in the late 90s and it took me a while to find the product, which was a Zalman Fanmate. They weren't made anymore, but I found a bunch used in a lot on eBay. My ASIC miners along with the separate power supply were just too damn loud. They, however, make really great efficient space heaters. If using a proper space heater, they produce about the same heat per watt used, except at full blast, they are too loud for most unless someone enjoys the sound equivalent to a running handheld pistol styled hairdryer. I had found most of the noise to be coming from the cooling fan on the ASIC miner itself. Firmware was able to take care of the fan noise, but also mine at a reduced rate - which is fine for me as full blast, it was too hot for the room. After successfully slowing down the ASIC fans with firmware, I discovered that the PS also makes a somewhat obtrusive noise. It is the Bitman AW3++ PS in particular as the HP 750W Server PS I also had was quieter. After investigating, I found it was a 2-pin connection and this jogged my search for Zalman Fanmates, this item, and also its opposite.I had found that both the "CRJ Mini 2-Pin Male Fan to Standard 3-Pin PC Fan Adapter Cable" and the "CRJ Mini 2-Pin Female PC Fan Adapter Cable 2-Pack" along with the Zalman Fanmate in the middle was enough to slow the fan down to an unobtrusive noise-level. It's not quiet by any means, but now it sounds like I have a space heater running and it keeps my feet toasty since I have these setup below my desk. I'm spending about the same power as if I were running a proper space heater, I get about the same heat and noise-level as a proper space heater, but I get to mine 50 cents of crypto a day. LOL. Still mining at a loss, but would have set up a space-heater anyways. This review is also going verbatim under the other cable. It works for what I wanted it to do - which is insert a 2-pin Zalman Fanmate between the 2-pin built-in fan and the jumper on the circuit board. It fits without electrical or physical modification. I need two Fanmates in there if I want to completely stop the fan, but that's not directly relevant to this product.

Works
Works if you swap the wires. They are in the wrong place.

Good fan adapter
I bought these to use on my 3D printer for a fan upgrade. These exceeded my expectations. I loved that they were sleeved highly recommend them

Works well, could be shorter.
Let me install a new fan in my PSU to reduce the noise so it worked, but the cable was a bit of a pain to secure the extra cable inside.

2 pin side must be flipped to work properly
I really wanted to give this a perfect five out of five stars, unfortunately the first time I plugged it into the replacement fan on my mpmd mini Delta 3D printer it didn't work. At first I thought it was something I did wrong and I replace the original fan just to verify the power output was correct on the circuit board that's when I noticed that the black and red wires were flipped on this model in comparison to the stock fan 2 pin.In the end it's a relatively easy fix you take a needle and remove the two pins from the plastic housing and flip them and it works perfectly but unfortunately it looks like these were assembled in properly at the factory.

For retardant from my tests
Works well, good cables, fire retardant insulation.

Right solution
Exactly as described, functions as intended!

Polarity Incorrect
The two prong male end is switched. You’ll need to take a needle to pull them out and flip them for it to work properly.
