These salon boards have a lower grit than I expected but they work fine

Good sized emery boards. They are firm enough and don’t bend with light pressure. The grit is pretty harsh. I wish one side had a finer grit for a lighter finish on the mail edge.

I almost used a whole side on my set of hands. (All 10 fingers). Seems a little bit expensive for only 4 boards- approximately 8 uses. They did work good, but a spot very quickly wore out and I had to use a different spot. No issues with them falling apart. I don’t think they are really a great value, but I would not hesitate to order them in a pinch if others were out of stock.

These have rough sides on both sides of the boards. I like this as i go to the salon and I am able to use these on my salon nails. Others are not as rough and wont work, You get four in the pack which a great value.

If you aren't looking for Ceramic or Glass emery board and looking for medium grain these may be for you they are decently priced and are of good quality.

I am not an expert on nail care. I am not an expert on nails tools and care. I am just a person who uses a simple drug store nail file or a very typical emery board to trim and shape my nails. I trim my fingernails and I trim my toenails using just these simple drug store tools.These salon boards are wonderful! I love the grit, so much more gritty than what I have ever used before. I love the firm board that does not bend. I love the durability of these medium grit salon boards. I get the job done so much faster with these boards. The boards work well for several uses.I keep one with my home nail care and skin care products. I keep one in my purse. I wouldn't go back to using the drug store quality nail files and emery boards.

I have unpainted, natural nails that I like to keep short. I usually trim them with clippers and then file the edges. I can't stand using metal emery boards. The handles are often thin, and I don't like the feel or sound of the metal rubbing against my nails. Thus, I usually look for disposable files similar to those used in salons.This is a decent set of (4) medium grit nail files. They are thick and substantial and very easy to grip. The grit is on both sides, which is nice as it extends the life of the file. I have used one several times, going over all my nails after they were clipped. The board shows minimal signs of wear, so it seems like it will last awhile. The price for a set of 4 ($6.19) is reasonable.
