Heating Element For Tricity Bendix Electric Fan Oven/Cookers (2500W)

The electric oven stopped making heat, the fan would spin but the main chamber stayed room temperature. Not knowing much about these things I feared the worst but after looking around online I learned the heating element would be a probable cause and simple replacement. The old elements coil had bent due to the years of use and was touching itself (oh my). Swapped that cheeky blighter out for the replacement following some youtube guides and even though it's only been ten months since it's still working perfectly.It has that new smell at first when heating the new element but that'll fade in time.

It's September 9th and the earliest I was expecting this to be delivered was September 11th - 2 days earlier than expected. I'm the worse DIY person ever as I'm all thumbs but with the help of a YouTube video, I've installed the new heating element in my tricity bendix fan assisted oven in less than 15 minutes. I've tested it and my oven is heating up again nicely. I'm ecstatically happy, not only was First4spares ( SPARES2GO ) cheaper than anywhere else I checked but it came days earlier than expected, it's the genuine article and I haven't screwed up or wasted loads of money by installing the element myself

We have a tricity bendix cse560bk and it fitted fine... Straight swap 5 minutes job.We did notice that it does make a ticking noise when it heats up and when it cools down.. A bit like a old car engine when it heats up and cools down. Not a constant tick but the odd tick. I guess this is because its brand new and never been heated up like this.It works fine. And we got it the day or 2 before the expected delivery date so very impressed by the seller we bought from.

Item arrived promptly and was easy to install - worked perfectly and dinner was produced half an hour later! Would definitely recommend First4Spares and will use myself as and when in the future! Thank you.

The unit was largely as expected but its fixings were not identical to the unit it replaced . With slight modification it was however quite useable and has been installed

We brought this element as ours broke, but were a bit worried as we had read other reviews saying the holes were in the wrong place etc. This fitted our oven brilliantly, took less than 5 minutes to do and saved us over £200, which our insurance company wanted to charge, as the element went in a power cut.item arrived very very quickly and excellently packaged.

ELEMENT CAME AHEAD OF TIME AND HAS WORKED AS EXPECTED. I DID NEED TO TO DRILL 2 SMALL HOLES IN THE BACK OF THE COOKER TO LINE UP WITH 2 OF THE FIXING BRACKETS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THAT OTHER DIY FOLLOWERS SHOULD LOOK AT THE ON LINE VIDEO SHOWING HOW TO FIT THE ELEMENT.
