A sturdy, effective fan for an office or perhaps a "man-cave" setting. Too noisy for bedroom use, but Highly Recommended!
I bought this for any wife who wanted a small, oscillating fan for her office. Before sho took it to work, though, we tested it in my home office that is about the same size. The cord could be longer, but we had an outlet less than 5-feet away, the approximate length of the power cord. We set it on a shelf about 10-feet from my desk. It is black plastic with a matte finish, so it will inevitably attract and show dust, so it will need regular maintenance to keep it clean.I tried in first non-oscillating. On low, it gave a good breeze and was relatively quiet. On high, it was quiet loud, but not annoying. The loudness is due to the fact that the blades have pretty which edges and have a sharp bend to them; both these things result in a noisy fan. When I set the fan to oscillate, it was only a bit noisier whenever the fan changed directions (there was a noticeable "clicking" sound as the fan changed direction). On the whole, it was all acceptable for an office fan.The front grill can be taken off so you can clean the blades and the grill of dust, but it is not easily done. Care must be taken to avoid breaking the clips that hold the grill on. In this regard, it isn't very user-friendly.In the end, it serves its purpose of moving air in a small space. Because it is pretty noisy (especially on "High"), it isn't the type of fan you would want in a bedroom, but it's perfect for a small office and not so loud that it would interfere with phone calls or in-person conversations. All-in-all, a good fan

Powerful
It’s a good tabletop size, pretty powerful for a small bedroom. I wish it had more speed settings/levels but it only has two; strong and really strong. And it’s loud, but ultimately works when it’s hot and can’t always have the AC on.

It blows hard
Great fan, size is small and oscillates, which is exactly what I was looking for. Most this small do not oscillate. It is very strong and blows hard. The only draw back is it is kinda loud it’s too loud to have on at night. Small enough to be portable.

Durable

4 years and still going strong!
I purchased this fan in 2018 and I still love it. I was looking to buy it again because I needed a fan that is small enough to sit on my desk at the office but powerful enough to keep me cool no matter which end of my desk that I am working on (I have a large L shaped desk). Im disappointed it’s sold out. My search continued and I noticed that most of the desk desk fans on Amazon had mixed reviews. I can’t settle for a fan that’s hit or miss when I have experienced this blizzard. I decided to leave a review because it’s still going strong 4 years later. I guess you can say I use it frequently but I don’t use it all day, everyday. I use it about 12 hours a day, 4 months out the year. I mainly use it in between seasons when I don’t want to run the AC but I still want to keep cool. I live in Chicago so we can have 3 seasons in one day lol. It’s powerful enough to keep someone cool about 7 feet away. It’s small enough for me to carry it back and forth from home to work but larger than your typical usb desk fan. In my opinion it’s not noisy. It sounds like wind blowing. If you cut it up to the highest level 3, guess what it’s going to sound like…a lot of wind blowing lol. Again, I live in the Windy City so the sound of wind doesn’t bother me. It sturdy and doesn’t shake on the highest setting. It can oscillate and can easily be tilted up or down with a push of your hand. No need to twist knobs or loosen any pins to tilt it. The hinge is strong so the fan won’t fall downward if you have it tilted up. I haven’t found any cons yet and I have had it for 4 years. Buy it!

If you want huge air flow, this is it. If you don't want noise, this is not it.
I ride my bike to work every day. I also get very hot on my ride and need a cool down before I can move on with the day. When my 25-year-old fan suddenly died, I needed to replace it. I was a bit hesitant to get this one because of the reviews about the noise, but ultimately decided to get it because of the reviews about its potential air flow. There is no doubt that I am very happy that I got it because it fits my need perfectly. I have it sitting at my desk so that after my bike ride to work I can let the air blow directly on me. I don't use the oscillating feature but I'm impressed with it's wide angle of oscillation. As hot as I am after the ride to work, I keep the fan on its lowest setting because it blows so much air. I guess that is where it gets the name "Blizzard". I even have to check from time to time to make sure it is on the lowest setting because it blows so much air. When people walk by my office they can feel the air flow, even though it is on its lowest setting and all the way across the room. I have a couple of tower fans at home that I keep in the fitness room to blow on me while exercising on the elliptical. I think this fan has much more airflow than the towers, especially if you turn it up.Since the fan does the job at cooling me down quickly, I tolerate the noise very well. I realize that with the powerful air flow, there has to be a lot of noise. If I need to take a phone call during my cool down, I do need to turn it off because it is so loud, but I also have it sitting right next to my body so the fan blows right into the phone.I've had the fan for about 2 months now, so I can't comment on its durability, other than I use it daily and have had no problems so far.In the end, I could not be happier with my purchase.

A Holmes???
If you really need a smaller fan, this would be OK. It is so poorly made I have to be very careful turning it on and off, afraid it might fall apart it is so shaky, and device re oscillation is not well thought out, and shaky too. However, I liked the size so even bought a second one. I'll just hope they don't fall apart too soon.

You Can't Go Wrong
Don't have AC in my apartment so I rely heavily on fans during the summer months. Don't understand the technology behind it but this model is amazing in cooling things down. I have a bunch of them everywhere. Money well spent if you're looking for a cooling fan with a small footprint.

Best fan I’ve owned
Before I bought this one, I owned a blue Blizzard fan for 8 years and it was going strong, used it nonstop every summer. Barely needed AC! Unfortunately one night it got bumped, fell off the dresser and finally met its end. I knew I needed the same one. The only thing is, I wish it came in different colours. Black is nice of course though

3 years strong and still going
Small and powerful little fan that gets me through the summer, was recommended by the Wirecutter and have not regret purchasing it since. Get this is you can't afford an AC or to run an AC in a small room, not going to beat an AC by any margin but it does help with airflow though you'll need to clean it regularlry. Thankfully, it's easy to take apart and clean.

Nice fan not working properly
This fan is working but if you turn it on to low speed it does not run properly. if you turn on to high and then move it back to low then it works correctly. it makes a bit of a rattle on high. I had this fan before and it lasted 18 years. not sure about this one's longevity. I have not contacted the seller yet as it just started to act up these last few days.

Ampliamente recomendable
Llego muy bien empacado y sin ningún problema. El ventilador funciona a la perfección. Lo utilizo en mi escritorio y da muy buena cantidad de aire. Puede girar o quedar fijo. Y se puede subir o bajar el ángulo.
