Generally, mobile carriers are able to recognize the device involved & usage of a SIM card by checking the IMEI number. Perhaps different data plans will have different Terms & Conditions, you should better check with your mobile carriers before utilizing your tethered data or unlimited data plan on the BR1 Mini HW3.
