Soft Silicone Dressings 10cm x 11cm (x5)

These dressings are excellent for use on the elderly. My father had a leg wound which took 6 weeks to heal. He is 94 years old and his skin is like paper. We used these dressings which are tacky, but not sticky. They can be lifted to check on the injury, then put back into place if they don't need changing. They are almost £5 each, but if you can afford it, use them! They were assisted to stay in place by a thin length of tubing (not too tight). This Mepilex dressing and the Mepilex XL are an amazing invention and far superior to using Mepore and tape. They can also be ordered from a Boots chemist

It’s good on an open wound and the wound heals while it’s on

very good for my thin skin but so expensive

I have used this dressings on human wounds before with very good results .This time I used it to heal an horrific wound on my dog ,a Jack Russell who was bitten on the back / rump by an Alsaion.The wound was operated on but started to necrosis .Mepilex was used and the wound healed within four weeks .great result.

Excellent product. Good for wounds or grazes and easy to cut and sticks well to skin without feeling sticky.
