My cats really enjoy this toy for a bit, but then they wander off, bored of it. Even fully charged, the battery is weak, which makes the silicone “tail” slow. The heavier “fur” tail doesn’t move at all when placed on the toy. However, the movement issue with the second tail doesn’t matter much since my cats freaking LOVE that thing. They take it with them to different rooms around the house and pounce on it even though it just sits there. Lol. They don’t have the same interest in the silicone tail though, which kinda stinks since the battery only stays charged for fewer than three ten-minute play sessions.I am concerned that the instructions state the silicone tail is “food grade”, and that if your cat eats pieces of it that makes it okay for them. Um, that isn’t how “food grade” silicone works. Pieces of the silicone tail still should NOT be ingested by your little fur friend! Make sure they are always monitored when playing with this if they are chewers. One of my murder machines chewed the tail tip off straight away.This toy is a little pricy for what it is, so I won’t be buying it again when it inevitably breaks. It was worth trying though. If it had a better battery or was on sale for $15 or something, I would buy it again.

My cat likes the fuzzy over silicone. I think it needs sleep/awake for away( or just lazy).

My cats weren’t crazy about this toy until I put it under a sheet and then they loved it! But it only stays on for 10 minutes so it’s not great for when I’m at work. If they could modify this toy, so it has a sleeper button that reactivates when the cat is ready to play, it would be great! The silicone didn’t get tangled in their hair like other reviews, but my cat bit off the end of it and would’ve swallowed it if I hadn’t been supervising, so definitely a safety hazard for cats who like to chew. Also, for the fact that it goes off after 10 minutes of play, it really doesn’t hold a charge for that long. If you put the first tail on it doesn’t move as quickly, so the first tail did not hold my cats interest. If the company could fix these issues they would have a winner.

This toy is well made, durable and holds their attention like no other toys I have gotten them. The snake that is popular they lost interest in right away, but this toy keeps them involved.

I had to cut the end off the black attachments because the speed it spins at wraps up in my long hair cats’ fur. They love the toy! But I ended up cutting about 1.5 inches off of the black pieces so it can’t spiral so fast.

As cats are royalty, we know how hard it is to find a toy they actually want to play with. Its super easy to hold in the air and let spin while your car does all the work. Also can be set on the floor. Doesnt work on carpet if your standing it up (just falls) but it can last a few spins on tile. Would buy again but wish it stood up on its own. Almost needs a suction cup on the bottom of it or weight added to the piece

Kitten loves this thing. It doesn't even have to be turned on for him to play with it. My older cat isn't super into it.It works better on hard floors vs carpet but bangs and is kinda noisy when it turns on and flips (why the 4 stars). But worth the fun for my kitten.

I love the concept, but my cat was afraid of it (don't take that personally because you know how cats can be..!). So I needed to return it. For modifications I would suggest a slower speed, and possibly ribbons instead of feathers. Just a thought. But give it a try - you never know what manner of toys your cat might enjoy. I wish it had worked out for my finicky cat!

Really delights the cat who gets very excited when this toy is given to him..
