This Bluetooth adapter has become my favorite. It has excellent range and works perfectly. The setup process was quite simple and easy; I just plugged the device into a USB port on my PC, and as soon as it was detected, I was able to start using it. It works like a charm—the connection is great. I loved it; I'm absolutely loving it!

I bought this Techkey Bluetooth adapter because I have a custom built PC with no bluetooth, and I wanted to use my ear buds rather than a set of headphones. It comes with an instruction manual that gives you step by step instructions. On my PC, installation was just a tad different than the manual. I plugged it into a front USB port, and attached the booster, then I went to Settings-->Devices-->Bluetooth and other devices, and I turned Bluetooth on. There was no Bluetooth option prior to my plugging in the device. Now to pair with my ear buds. It was simple. Staying on the "Settings" screen, I took my ear buds out of the case, they auto go to pairing mode. I chose them from a list of audio devices and they paired easily. I now see my ear buds under Bluetooth, with an added plus of battery life left. As far as range goes, I walked around the house, and this is probably dependent upon the structure you're in, walls, etc, etc...but I would say it was clear without a break for about 50 feet, and that was through multiple rooms. The reception got a bit spotty after that, but again, I think it's dependent upon what type of building you're in. This at least gives you a ballpark range plus/minus. I would recommend for quality and ease of installation.

I bought this for my desktop because it didn’t have Bluetooth, and honestly it works really well. Setup was super easy, just plugged it in and it started working right away. I connected my headphones and speaker with no problems. The signal is strong and I haven’t had any connection issues so far. Definitely a good purchase for the price!

There is no way to speak as to the performance over a period of time unless you use it for a time period. With that being said my first review on this product would be a pass, and is working as described in the listing. I am able to pick up a signet over 100 feet from my computer when using my headphones when outside. I will update the states as I use it over the next several months if a problem arises.

Works well. Installation was quick, and I connected it in seconds. I'm using it to connect my Bluetooth devices to my computer, and the signal remains stable. It's a good size and does exactly what I needed. The material also look durable.

Using this dongle as a hub for my Switch Bot appliances through Home Assistant's integration. The range is very good and the connection is stable. My closest device is about 50' away and operates as expected. Best part about this low price dongle is that I am able to pass through my True Nas Scale box to a Home Assistant VM without issues. I was not successful using the internal wifi/bt board on my motherboard in this configuration, either passing the PCI Wifi card, internal USB BT portion of the combo card, or both. This device was essentially plug and play once I routed the USB address through to the VM. HA picked this up immediately without configuration, and the SwitchBot configuration was able to connect without any additional configuration. If you are using this dongle in a similar scenario, it will work. I did have to separate this from my other dongles (thread, Zigbee, and Z wave) as well as the USB hub I'm using (with a short extension cable), but that is normally necessary or at least good practice for reliable connections using wireless dongles. Great price, performance and functionality.

Il prodotto è arrivato in anticipo rispetto alla data fissata. Inizialmente, l'unità dvd del mio pc non riusciva a leggere il mini cd fornito dal produttore e purtroppo i driver forniti da windows 10, come dichiarato nelle descrizioni, non funzionano. Ho provato a cercare i driver sul web ma senza successo; comunque prima di attivare il "reso" ho scritto alla TechKey per richiedere un link da cui scaricare i driver necessari all'installazione. Con mia sorpresa, l' Azienda ha risposto alle 5,16 di questa mattina fornendomi quanto richiesto. A questo punto l'installazione è stata facilissima ed il prodotto ha immediatamente riconosciuto le mie cuffiette bluetooth e funziona perfettamente. Sono convinto che le 5 stelle del giudizio siano state ampiamente meritate.

Ich habe mir den Adapter gekauft, um meine neue Tastatur über Bluetooth zu benutzen. Die Installationsschritte sind gut beschrieben und die Installation funktionierte (auch auf meinem älteren PC mit Windows 8) tadellos. Mittlerweile ist nicht nur eine kleine CD mit dem Treiber, sondern auch ein hochwertiger kleiner USB-Stick, auf dem die Installationsdateien sind, dabei. Somit stellt die Installation auch ohne CD-Laufwerk kein Problem dar. Die Bluetooth Verbindung ist stabil und ich konnte keinerlei Verzögerungen oder Ähnliches feststellen. Da ich das Produkt erst seit kurzer Zeit verwende, kann ich keine Aussagen zur Haltbarkeit/Langlebigkeit treffen.

I was having issues with the built-in Bluetooth on my gaming desktop. When using my Sennheiser HD 450 BT the audio was choppy and sometimes it wouldn't connect at all. I bought this after reading the other positive reviews. The package came with the dongle and another device labeled as 'BT5.0-Driver'. There was also a CD for installing the drivers. Setting up the dongle was super-simple! I just plugged it in and it automatically installed the necessary drivers. The difference between this and the built-in Bluetooth is like day and night - this is clear, crisp, and works every time!
