Not too sure about this device. Sometimes it works for my Arduino development boards, sometimes not. It seems to work ok on USB drives and cameras. I have a 4 unit hub beside it that never fails.

I ordered 1 of these to test the quality after being burned on others. I have to say that I was surprised of the quality of this one. Everything they advertised was true. I used it for some time, every plug-in. It performed really good. I bought one for every room, just because of the versatility and long cord. Small enough in overall size to put anywhere. I zip tied several to my work benches, worked well and supplied everything with the power I needed. The capacity of ports was more than enough.

The best USB hub I've ever used. No external power adapter needed. Just plug it into your pc/laptop and plug up to 7 USB devices into it. Select which ones to use with the on/off switch for each. Simple, convenient and easy to use.

This thing... made about as cheap as it possibly could be. It's right outside of the return window by days, all 7 ports are screwed up. You have to play musical ports to get one to work. I'd say each of the 7 has had about 5 plug-ins, certain ports won't recognize some, other ports the same. I have to take the plug and push it in with force for windows to even acknowledge something is plugged in, then even while holding it disconnects. I've got 3 other different brands and every port on all three of them are fine. If you're lucky you might be able to plug a dongle in and it work if you never look at it again. This thing is trash.

I am not disappointed. It works for what it is needed for even if some of the USB ports do not work at all. I have 2-3 ports that don't work but that's why there's others to use to get the jobs done.
