High quality anise. The cookies made with this were absolutely delicious. The bottle is big enough to di nany batches. Product freezes in colder temps but tgat happens with high quality anise oil. Sometimes it needs to be defrosted before use. My house is old and drafty so it might not do that in normal room temperature conditions. The value for the quality was good as well. Best anise for sure.

I have blueberry trees so I get lots of blueberries but they never have a strong enough blueberry flavor so I have been ordering this for a couple of years. Since I get very good comments about my blueberry desserts I believe it's working!

This is a great flavor. It adds a nice chocolatey flavor without any strange aftertaste or weird chemical smell.I use this to flavor homemade ice creams and it tastes great. The bottle also lasts quite a while even though it is small. I have made around 15 ice creams and have used maybe 40% of the bottle. It is very concentrated so you don't need to add too much to have a large impact on the flavor.

Being from Louisiana, Zatarains root beer has always been a part of my life and now my grandson loves it as much as I do. I bought as much as I could when I realized it was being discontinued. I’ve been on a mission to find something that might come close. The search is ended! This extract is as close to Zatarains as you could get! The only difference is the color is more like tea than the dark color of Zatarains. I can live with that! I tried to find a recipe but wasn’t successful so here is what I did on my first attempt. You may have to adjust to your taste. It is super concentrated. You don’t want to use too much. I used 1/8 teaspoon root beer, 1 cup sugar to 1 quart of water. I did increase the root beer by a drop or two. If it tastes off, you have used too much.If you are looking for a replacement, you’ve found it!

The flavor was pretty strong. I honestly didn't like the flavor which is why I gave it 4 stars but other than that, it did it's job. Its a tiny bottle so you'll more than likely use the entire bottle.

This is one of my favorite purchases. I love to put two drops in my morning coffee for a delicious change of pace. My wife loves it in her hot chocolate.

The vanilla has very strong flavor. Works great for making lip balm, however, if making soap, it’s very fast acting and seized the soap mixture up.
