Hethrone Fountain Pen Ink Set - Calligraphy Pen Ink Set 10 Bottles

I purchased this set of inks as part of doing the "Inktober 2020" challenge.And don't regret buying this brilliant set of inks at all. They come in a good range of colours and are beautifully packaged and the square glass bottles,with their nice labels have a nostalic look to them,the labels also have the names of the colours on them. The colours are really vivid and dilute with water,they also layer well when dry. They flow beautifully when using a brush and also work well with a dip pen. The colours can be mixed as well. The only slight niggle is the lack of a yellow ink,but that is a minor niggle. The price for what you get in this set is good. And they would make a great gift. I am midway into the 'Inktober' challenge and am enjoying using these inks. The qaulity of them is really excellent.If you decide to purchase this set you will not be dissappointed at all.I will carry on using these brilliant inks into the future and would buy this set again. Mt favourite colours in the set are "Turquoise" and "Bordeaux" which is a deeper red.The black ink in the set is really reat for working with a dip pen and the black dries to a really consistant opacity.I have been using them with a set of chinese calligraphy brushes and they are made for this kind of brush.Highly reccommend these inks.

Very good selection of colours of ink.

The packaging and bottles are lovely looking and have a stopper on the inside to stop them spilling. Overall the colours are lovely and vibrant. The reason i didnt give five stars is because i realised there is no yellow as i was painting bees. also means you cant easily mix certain colours. Also the purple is another shade of pink not a true purple as the packet suggests. All other colours seem true to images though.

Beautiful storage box for the inks-it keeps all the inks standing upright and looks old fashioned (which is great). There is a good range of colours too.My only issue (and it’s really small) is that the bottles do not have the colour written on them so if you take off a few lids you have to guess which lid belongs with each bottle.Fantastic product-already recommended to my friend for her daughter.My 9 year old loves it.

Lovely colours great ink, but I feel the size of the bottles do not quantify the high cost of the inks in them. Lovely box well packaged, ideal present.
