I bought this in the 1/4 zip version without the hood in the size large and it fit great. Unfortunately the hooded version here seems to fit small because the large was too tight. They didn’t offer the XL, or I would have loved it. Really like the zip in the front and the length was great, too.

I've bought icebreaker and smartwool stuff before that I found too itchy. This is pretty soft. If you're easily bothered by seems, I felt them but, to me they weren't scratchy. This is thinish material, but not see through. The top I bought is true to color, true to size (it's fitted at the waist and in general, snug but not like skin tight). I'm 5'6 142 athletic/slightly curvy build, size b chest. If you prefer a looser for you may want to size up. As people have mentioned, the hood is close fitting. I think I've seen hoods that can go under helmets and maybe that's the idea here. It looks a little goofy on, but could be functional. Overall, I love this and I think I can wear it year round.

I don't remember the fit being listed as slim but it is. I should have ordered up a size. But then it would have fit awkward in places. I love Merino wool so I will learn to live with the fit. Maybe it will motivate me to lose a few pounds! Haha

I am a mail carrier and believe in layering. I ordered a size up, because I wanted to be able to wear a t-shirt underneath. Perfect fit! I liked it so much I ordered another one in a different color.

I ordered a large I like a looser fit. This fit more like a medium. The lightweight Merino wool is wonderful I love the way the hood fits and the quarter zip space snug. Very well made products. And it shipped very quickly I will order from them again and actually did buy my daughter the same hoodie

Overall my experience: very well made. Soft. Fits perfect for me. Helps keep me warm as under layer.

This hoodie is super thin and still warm! It is GREAT for layering because it's thin. It fits under jackets without making you feel bulky. I like the close fitting hood. It's wearable as a shirt as well as over another layer. I like that it has reflective trims to wear out at night. Didn't use the zipper, but appreciate the zipper cover at the neck. I'm treating myself and ordering other colors. A new staple in my wardrobe!

I love merino wool and have been slowly replacing a lot of my synthetic exercise clothes. It feels better against my skin and does not hold odor the way synthetic fabric does. I bought this shirt for cool weather running. I love that it has long sleeves with thumb loops to keep my hands warm if I don't want to bother with gloves. I also like the zip neck, which allows me to unzip for ventilation when I start to get warm. The weight of the shirt is slightly lighter than I was expecting but, had I compared my 250g Smartwool zip necks to the 150g t-shirts, I probably would've had a better idea. Nonetheless, it's plenty warm (for me) under a windbreaker or vest for running in the upper 30s through 40s. YMMV.In terms of fit, I am 5'8", ~125 lbs, hourglass shape and the size small fit me similarly as pictured on the model, maybe a little shorter on me but still quite long overall. I have very long arms, long even for my height, and the sleeves are plenty long on me. HALLELUJAH. If you are short, this shirt will probably very long for you, especially the sleeves. Sleeve openings are loose so that would be my only minor complaint; if I need to keep them above my hands at my wrist, they have to be folded up because they don't stay pushed up.Easy to care for, just machine wash in cold water and hang dry. There was a negligible amount of shrinkage.
