Definitely helps sweat
I wear xxl shirts, I am 5’10” and I ordered the Large. To me personally if felt a bit big. The point is to fit a bit tight to help sweat.

product material is different
This is a late post. This product’s seam started unraveling the 2nd week I wore it! And there’s a hole in it from where the seam unraveled…This material is different from the first one i purchased about 3 years ago! I am not pleased with this product!

Rolls
While it does suck you in and make you sweat. It rolls in the back. Also if you have an apron belly, it’ll only cover the top half of your stomach. The bottom it just rolls and not feasible. I’m 275lb 5’4 and got the 3x

Love this thing
I love love this thing . It’s stretchy and fits perfect and feels comfortable while it’s on so you don’t feel restricted during a workout . We can’t target fat areas but it absolutely does help with water weight . I use to use cling wrap before this. Game changer for sure .

Doesn't Stay in Place
I got this to help steady my flab while running, as my previous belt had deteriorated. Since the other had velcro that had worn out, I liked the idea that this was just elastic without velcro closure. Bad idea. This belt constantly rolled out of place as I moved, requiring me to stop at least every mile to fix it back into place. And since I was sweaty, it left my wet skin exposed to the cold which was no fun. After 5 miles, I gave up and just took it off because I was so annoyed. The next run, I put my old belt over top of it, hoping to keep it in place. That did not work either, as it just rolled under the other belt. I can't speak for how effective it might be for someone who doesn't have a belly like I do, but if you are looking for something to go over a belly bump, don't expect it to stay there.
