Almost all the extras were included!! Pipe tape, clamps, normal pcv fitting so you can properly plumb with normal 1.5" (not that waterways crap) pvc pipes, flex pipes, awesome. Unless you are doing some unusual installation, everything needed is included. Instructions are very clear. Assembly was fast (about an hour) and simple. Do not overtighten the gauge.I got this to replace my 24 year old blue ball 19" baquasure filter that finally cracked. It looks a lot smaller? But man it works freakin' great!!! Cleared my 18' pool in one day!

My local pool store wanted $450.for the same size filter, easy to put together ( just don’t over tighten the pressure gage ).came with all the fittings you need only thing you need is o-ring lube and sand. The instruction book is printed wrong says 130 lbs of sand but the seller said it does take 175 lbs of sand. Took about 2 hours to take old filter out and put new one together.

I'm very happy with this sand filter. Construction and kit in in general was excellent. I bought mine with the base plate which my pump easily mounted to.It's a big upgrade over the old undersized cartridge filter I had for my 10000 gal pool.Basically came with everything I needed, except filter sand (I filled about 2/3, I think most of 3x50lb bags).The built in valve for closing, bypassing, backwashing, etc, is great. Makes flushing sand or isolating pump and other filters so much easier.I have not winterized, yet. It's much bigger than my older filter, and obviously about 150lb with sand in it, so I doubt it's going into the garage.

I bought this for a 15x30 above ground pool. The components are fairly good quality and the installation instructions are accurate. It says it "works with most pool pumps" .. it just didn't work with mine, which is an AquaPro 2HP 2-speed, and the outlet is a 3" with outside threads. The pump inlet on the filter is 1.5" inner threaded. The other two ports on the filter (waste, and outlet to pool) have a 3" outer thread and 1.5" inner thread so I don't understand why that wasn't done with the one I needed, which is the inlet from pool side. So I had to purchase an additional adapter from my pool supply company. No big deal, but it delayed this install for 2 weeks as I flailed around trying to find the correct part. Lesson learned, if you are in this situation, call a pool supply vendor. They can probably tell you exactly what you need and sell it to you, without you wasting a lot of time searching for it yourself.Added vendor-recommended 90lbs silica sand, and put in service. This has been installed now for two weeks. No leaks, and it has an adequate flow rate to service the 15'x30' pool that I have.

Didn't come with directions but I didn't need any it worked perfectly I put 250 lb of sand in there with a 1.5 HP pump..

Ordered something that’s not American made after it says in the advertisement that it is came crushed in the box and it’s exactly the one that I had to return before because it broke for a different company and wind up. Still getting the same garbage.

The media could not be loaded.  Came with pedestal. Had to put a system together. Works well with 2 hp pump, 150# of sand. Used hose parts off small pump that came with 24' pool

No leaks, filtering well, very easy to install. Our pool is 12x54 above ground! And it’s not loud!
