Easy to use and feels fairly good, though it does require pushing quite hard to get pressure which isn’t the most comfortable to hold in the hand after a couple of minutes. Easy to clean if using with oils or lotions.

For my wife, these metal massage balls are too cold even at room temperature and I about lost my arm when I initially surprised her with them coming straight from the fridge to her back! So, I don't know that we will use them in that way often. I tried again another time with a bowl of warm water to warm the balls up and that was better received, however you do have to be a little careful about water being trapped in the handle around the ball. When you first press it to your/their flesh any water trapped inside around the ball will pour out around the ball because it will push up into the handle a hair. You can't really dump all of it out easily by turning it over, so I'd advise you also press the ball up into the handle when you have it over your bowl before using it on your/their skin or you'll have a small puddle to clean up.They do feel kinda of nice rolling around on your back. They are large enough that you almost get the sensation that they aren't rolling at all and is a unique feeling compared to the other massagers we have made from other materials or with other sized knobs on them.

When I first took these out of the packaging, I was quite skeptical. They feel, for lack of a better word, cheap. The plastic handholds are pretty low quality, and I was wondering if the ball itself were just a heavy plastic ball coated to look metallic.However, after actually using them, I can only say, they do exactly what they need to do. I've tried them for both hot and cold massage therapy, and while I personally feel that they're more pleasant when hot, they are fully effective rollers no matter which way you want to use them, and also pretty comfortable to actually hold in your hand while using them. The carrying bag is also a nice useful touch.Overall, if you don't mind the cheap appearance, these are a paid of very good massage rollers.

I picked these out to use with clients. I love the idea of being able to have 1 tool to use for both hot and cold therapy. I tested these out and put one in the freezer and soaked one in hot water. The cold roller stayed cold for hours and was very soothing on the muscles. The rollers are great to use anywhere but be cautious are the face and neck because sometimes my hair would get caught in the plastic housing. The housing is on the cheaper side but seems like it will hold up for a bit. The hot roller felt great but cooled off in 5-10 minutes so it would not be ideal for me you use them for heat therapy. They are easy to grip and even without freezing the rollers balls have a nice cool temp and can still be utilized for a more mild cold therapy. My storage pouch arrived with one of the string tighteners broken but no big deal. Decent price but I wish the housing was made better. Overall good buy.

This little roller ball feels really nice on my face and down my neck. You can keep it cold but I find that to be too much for me. I enjoy it at room temp. I think it does help a little with lymphatic drainage and inflammation in my face because my face looks a little less puffy since I’ve been using it.

Lately been experiencing leg and lower back pain so have started using these in addition to a few other items and it all seems to be helping.These are great for small hands to use which is perfect.The ice chips take no time to work their magic and these roller balls are easy to handle in that the entire device doesn’t get cold- just the top.Works for me when there’s a need for cold therapy

I got these to use to put icy hot/bengay on my shoulders while I’m working. I sit at the desk for most of the day, and my neck/shoudlers suffer. I used to apply creams with my hands, but decided to give these a try. Love them! It’s like I’m giving myself a little massage at my desk. I’ve been squeezing a little bit of cream into the back opening. It spreads nicely, and is such a better way to apply my neck cream!I use them at room temperature. However, they have a natural chill to them which I like.I have found that the cold is not for everyone though….. I got the set of 2, so I could give the extra one to my boyfriend. He’s always complaining about his neck as well. Since I liked them so much, I was excited to try it out on him. Big mistake! As soon as I placed it on his shoulders I about lost my hand, lol! He was surprised how cold they were, and didn’t find it soothing at all.Overall, I’m happy with these. They are easy to use by yourself, and makes applying creams so much easier. Just keep in mind that they’re naturally cold.

I think this type of roller massage is used better as a cold massage ball because it's still dry, if you use put it in the hot water for a warm massge it will be messy even the plastic handle has a hole to drain the water out but it still has few drops inside and you have to use the towel/paper towel to wipe it dry.The balls were made from stainless steel and stay cold for a long time, I have not tried the hot water as I don't know what is the temperature the plastic shells can stand up to?The 2 balls came in a white box with a drawstring satin bag. However, there's no product name, no manufacturer info either, only a sticker with UPC code, item/part number and " Made In China ".Price seems a little bit higher than the similar products.
