Inexpensive beginner strings which is what I was looking for

The strings are okay for the asking price, but they are definitely more for a beginner. The strings are all the correct size and gauge for a violin and they are comparable with the standard low-cost strings on the market. Easy enough to install and tune. I was really disappointed with the horse hair. As others have stated, they are not tied properly and just fall apart. I noticed that one was also significantly thinner than it should have been and I ended up not even being able to use it. This is a budget item so I can't be too disappointed, but I won't be getting this again.

Both hanks fell apart immediately when handled. They come knotted on one end but the knot is not nearly tight enough to work with. It is my fault for allowing this to happen on both hanks. I should have immediatly tied my own knots. I cut my loses and threw them away. I have no patience to regather the hairs and tie my own knot. I know this is a fairly simple task but if I wanted loose hairs I would cut them off a horses tail myself. Hair quality seems ok. If you do buy these, immediately tie your own knots.

I should have known for the price what to expect the strings broke off immediately, and thank god I went to the music store cause trust me you don’t wanna rehair your bow
