Looks great and yes there are a few bits you could tackle as a beginner but don't expect to master any of it for a year or two. With a violin it's definitely a case of walk before you run!

Some of the songs I would say more more advanced that level 3. Note wise they are easy but the technique is a lot harder. It is a great collection though and the play along is very useful

Whilst not for complete beginners, would recommend for 2nd year tuition upwards. Useful to have accompanying cd. Suit child through to adult Harry Potter fans.

Music practice can be boring, this is great if you know a HP fan who sometimes can't be bothered to practice. I don't read music but the recipient was happy with it. Makes a nice gift.

A bit difficult for Bronze level but will work up to it later - using the Lord of the Rings version first as some pieces in that slightly easier.

Bought for a gift. I was impressed but I don't play! Liked the idea of CD to accompany instrument. Recipient appeared to be delighted.

Even though it says it comes with a cd it does not, just a link to online music. Music itself good just expected a backing cd like advertised.

This book is awesome! My daughter is in her second year of violin and loves Harry Potter so she has enjoyed learning to play. The CD is great as well.

Ottimo volume che include oltra alla parte del violino (con arcate e legature) anche lo spartito del piano e un cd con demo e basi (orchestrali). E' piaciuto molto ai miei studenti.

Esta genial. A mi hija le ha encantado. Tiene partituras mas fáciles y otras un poco más complicadas pero para 4 de elemental está bien. Lo recomiendo ya que las partituras que tocan los niños son un poco mas tediosas y aburridas y al ser de Harry Potter estimula a los niños a tocar.

My brother absolutely loves it! He said it was a level higher than a beginner's level, but he's learning as he goes! He told me that because of his instructor and teacher are helping him to learn to play the song and managed to do over a minute playing so far since he got this. He was thrilled. Oh, and he told me he started to play with the piano in class while waiting for the bells to go off and everyone turned quiet on him when he was playing it. They were surprised how well he played and he was proud! It certainly boosts his different choices to pick from and not limited to classic and beginner to play. He had come a long way over a year now and I'm proud to buy something he's passionate about and that's playing piano and Harry Potter! You can't beat that! If your kid is learning and pasted a beginner's level and loves Harry Potter as a fan, this is perfect for them and perfect way to get them to improve within a month or two.
