Legendary Encounters Deck Building Game: Alien Exppansion

The game quality is excellent. Shipment super fast (took 4 days to arrive to Lithuania).In general this expansion is great and offers 2 new locations (with 3 new objectives each), Alien queen deck, 9 new characters, Hard Modes for these new locations/objective and the original, and some other stuff :)All around, really worth it since, I love the original and I am sure I will love this one. Big thank you to the seller and the game creators for providing this now rare gem to me <3The only CON is that the game does not have instructions on what Locations/Objective belong together (by analyzing the cards you can figure it out yourself) and what characters to use in these new challenges (game expects you to select characters yourself in these new scenarios).

Adds some crazy-difficult stuff to an already crazy-difficult game. And we loved every minute of going through the new campaign, and the revised old ones. It gets rather silly, but it's the good kind of silly. This is well worth picking up if you've played the original to death, and the new player decks are pretty swell too.The Queen mode is,kind of interesting, but word of warning, it takes a while for her powers to build, so the Queen player has quite a few really boring turns early in the game... But, once she's got her card engine going, she wins, pure and simple. It takes a very well coordinated team in order to best a Queen player.

We've been playing the base game for years and really enjoy it. I spotted the expansion pack and thought it was a really good idea. It has two new scenarios each with three objectives. An added bonus is hard options for all the existing scenarios in the base game as well as the new ones. Plenty to keep us going through local lockdown. Lots of new characters, role cards, drone cards etc. We tended to play the original game using the decks from each film. The new characters have inspired us to start mixing the decks up. We like playing collaboratively so haven't looked at the Queen role yet. Even without the queen the expansion is definitely worth buying to bring new elements to the original.

Great add on to a great game you must have the main game ,this adds another side to the game as a present for a big Alien fan its a 10 out of 10 its well worth investing in this if you have the main game .

Parcel arrived a day-or-so than expected. All contents included in superb condition. A nice addition to the base game. Looking forward to including it during game sessions!

More scenarios, more character cards and more difficulty for the base game. Contains hard modes for all the base game scenarios and a soldier xenomorph deck to make it even harder if you so wish. Also includes a Queen mother mode where one player can take on the role of the Queen Mother alien and oppose the other players. She also gets her own playing mat.Pretty essential if you have the base game in my opinion. It deepens and enriches the original gameplay, which was pretty damn good to begin with!

I got a very early copy a day or two after it was released and all the cards were included, so no problems like there was with the original release.

Though the art is hit and miss, this is an excellent game that works very thematically, and provides a real challenge to play solo or with higher numbers of players. The turncoat option for converted players is also great. The presentation is excellent, though the user-made card dividers are a must. They have provided dividers without labels, though, which is helpful. The game has a purchase element for deckbuilding, but really shines in its advancing threat mechanic. The playmat is excellent, and the two add-on games are worth having. Takes up a lot of space, and takes a little time to learn how to set up, but all the expansions fit in the main box, (except for the Queen playmat). A very good game, and one of the few

I have to recommend this expansion. There is a ton of content. I already love LE Alien. This expansion adds more drones, strikes, and locations. My favorite part, the addition of a Hard Mode for all previous locations and Soldiers. If you want to amp up the difficulty level for the base game, you must have this. I am a player that doesn't want to win all the time. These new materials will ensure that doesn't happen often. All of the expansion cards will fit in the base game box. There are enough dividers for the new cards. I could not get the new mat to fit in the box though.
