I wanted a motion light for my garage so I did not have to turn on the overhead each time. This light is perfect. If comes on immediately when I enter the garage and provide enough light. It turns off when motion is no longer detected. Each light can be directed at different angles. It is easy to install - I used screws with a drill. But the light does have an adhesive option.I would recommend this if you have an area like a garage, shed, walk-in closet, attic, etc.

I actually bought this for a specific reason; to set outside my tent in an area known for bears. It worked incredibly well. I mean, no bears came, but my dog set it off so it would work. However, instead of throwing it in my camping gear I just mounted it to my son's swings for extra lighting "just in case" in the back yard. At this price it's a great deal.

I bought one of these for the front ofy house, since I don't have any external lights on the front of my house(minus an enclosed porch) so I wanted an inexpensive, wireless, automatic light so I decided to try this one because of the price and the decent reviews. After the first one, I decided to buy a second for my back yard.The daylight activation is basically non-existent which is awesome so it won't unnecessarily drain batteries(not included) and the motion detection works pretty good.My only real gripe with it: the mounting solution kind of sucks. My Blink Floodlight 4 has a similar mount to remove the light from the mount attached to the wall, and that has a release tab. The diagrams in the user manual for this light shows something similar, but it doesn't have a release tab or anything. Once it's mounted, you have to leave it to one side and pull really hard to slide the light off the mount. Because of this, I had to mount a spacer between my house and both lights.Aside from that, they work well. The example photo is with fresh batteries, but it honestly stays that bright for a couple of weeks. Just buy rechargeable batteries and you're good. Swapping them isn't too bad, aside from dealing with the bad mount.Overall, I recommend it.

Disagree with reviews that say this product is not well constructed. On the contrary, it SEEMS quite solid -- physically.However, it is nevertheless a piece of junk.I loaded four D cells, and both lights were temporarily activated, as the instructions said would happen. After 20 seconds, the lights shut off. Subsequent testing in a dark room indicated that the unit was working correctly: motion was detected and the lights turned on, then turned off after 20 sec.Within about 4 activation cycles, though, the unit ceased working, and I have not been able to get it to function again, despite replacing batteries, checking connections, etc.The most charitable explanation of this performance is that I got a lemon, and the manufacturer has terrible quality control.Not good enough. Avoid this piece of junk.

I mounted this light on a pole inside front of some very big hemlock trees to conceal it from view in an area adjacent to my house that is unlighted. I was very happy to see that it did not pick up motion from the trees, only when I walked near it. The light is very bright and fully adjustable, I just wish the battery replacement was a bit easier.

This product works but not the best. I put it in my garage and it's not bright enought to light up garage. Also it turns off to quickly.
