Weber quality but expensive for what it is.

It does the job, but really its just a metal box. And I'm not sure about the value v price.

The smoker box that was supplied is a Weber product, I think a later verion and is not stainless steel. It has an inverted V shaped base and sits on the flavouriser bars. It works well enough, whether it will last remains to be seen.

1 full box is around 1h of smoking in 140 Celsius range. Was doing 321 ribs over the weekend with smoking them using this for 3h.... just perfect. A smoker will do the job better but if you only have a gas bbq it's a good walkaround.

Count on Weber to make a great smoker box. This item works well in my BBQ.

Para ahumados en asador de gas, mi recomendación es poner directamente la caja encima de las flavorized bars, para que se inicie el humo más rápido y ya después se pone encima de la parrilla para continuar el ahumado.

Les ouvertures sur le couvercle et danq le fond de la boîte permettent un meilleur passage de l'air dans le bois de fumage que ceux qui sont juste ouverts sur le couvercle, pour avoir essayé les 2.

Bien plus efficace qu'un fumoir fermé dans le fond, l'air circule bien dedans car ouvert dans le couvercle et dans le fond. Parfait
