Rit Liquid Fabric Dye Cherry Red 236ml

Soo coverage wise it is brilliant, my husband didn’t believe I had dyed my shorts myself, but the actual end colour is a vibrant pink not cherry red, I followed the instructions on some white denim shorts which had had an accident with a cup of tea , so perhaps it was the denim that didn’t take the red - I’m no expert as first time trying something like this! But now I have nice pink shorts with no tea stain! Hoorah 😃

I used it for curtains and it didn’t give the result I was looking for . Patchy in areas

Turned everything pink ! And the instructions were followed! Always used rit powder in the past i dont rate this oroduct at alk it was a complete disappointment !

Didn't work on my cushion covers

This dye faded after 4 washes. However after 24 washes it has still not washed out of the washing machine even after running on a 90 degree cycle and putting cleaner through it twice. I am still washing my whites by hand!

Rit Dye and Color Stay Fixative ($16) made it easy to revive worn or faded fabrics with rich, even color. One dye bath refreshed two pairs of pants and a sweatshirt with consistent coverage, and in a separate project, brought an outdoor umbrella back to life. The process is simple - hot water, salt, teaspoon of liquid dish soap in a 5-gallon bucket (3-gal water), occasional stirring for even coverage (I set my timer for 4-minutes while tending to other chores) - and the fixative later helped lock in the results. For around $16, we extended the life of multiple items (pants/sweatshirt). A practical, eco‑friendly way to refresh what you already own. I started with items that I wouldn't mind losing...but with the early successes, I would broaden this to items I truly would like to refresh.
