I see it’s silent strike for the kick pad, do I need to purchase a mesh pad separately or does the press cause the sound?

It is hit recorded. It has a Drum kit wich uses the HiHat pedal for the second pedal, leaving the HiHat opened. I haven't triend yet but I think you could usea double pedal setup with the kit, since it's hit feedback.
