A must buy! I used to get cold sores quite often. Like every 3 months. Starting taking 2 pills in morning and 2pills at night. And haven’t had a cold sore in 12months! Only thing that has worked for me. Even more than prescription meds. Can’t live without these now.

My go to brand and a great supplement for many things. This is a must have for anyone with forms of herpes, it's great for your bones and skin. Its considered an anti-viral so I plan to have it on hand just in case...Update..I meant in case of covid, not herpes..lol

These are easy-to-swallow capsules! I normally can't swallow large pills ('horse' pills), but these are light and slide down easily! Works great for open soars in the mouth (herpes). No side effects. It's an amino acid. I've tried the powders with Vit C, but don't care for the taste. Water works with these, but anything thicker, like juice or milk, makes it feel like you're not swallowing anything at all. I'm a petite size, so 1,000 mg (2 capsules) work for me on a daily basis, if needed. My Dr suggested this based on comments from other patients. When I feel the tingling of a soar (the sign that a soar is coming), I take 3,000 mg every day for 3 days, then back to 1,000 mg for a couple days just to be sure it's gone. The soar doesn't start! This is natural, and I believe it's better than taking a prescribed medication, like Acyclovir.

Supplement seems to do the job.

We take lysine daily during cold and flu season and haven't had any illnesses in several years. These capsules are relatively easy to swallow even though they are somewhat large. This company is well rated for excellent products.

The vet recommended Lysine for our cat that appeared to have itchy skin. It seems to work -- just a little bit in his wet food. These capsules are easy to open and pour out the powder... I get about 3-4 doses from each capsule for the cat. It would be nice to just buy Lysine a powder form, but this is the next best thing.

How do you write warmth on a supplement in a capsule? I take these against the stds my ex left with -whenever I feel itching or tingling in the nether regions, I take 2 of these daily. Haven't had an outbreak in over a decade.

I have been taking these for maybe 9 months and haven’t had one cold sore yet! I get cold sores when I’m stressed or with weather changes and have had them every few mo this since I was little. These things work.

At least it should be clearly mentioned that it contains gelatine that is sourced from bovine meatGoes against the religious practice of hindus
