Teng 1200frp Quick Release Reversible Ratchet - 1/2in Square Drive

I bought this ratchet to replace the Halfords composite type I’ve used commercially on motorcycles for about 30 years , the Halfords ones are no longer available without being a socket set . I’m very pleased with the Teng tools ratchet I feel this will last as well as my old ones that last about 10 years each time . These you can replace the internals on however they are costly it’s almost the price of ratchet which seems daft

Excellent Teng quality. Teng tools have always been reliable in my experience. I have yet to break any. The socket sets are well made and fit precisely. I have never had any problems using them over many years.

Have nevef bought teng before but having had good reviews from friends decided to try. I bought 1/4 3/8 and 1/2 ratchets and a torque ratchet. Very impressed with the quality for the price

Bought this because I already own the 3/8" version and was chuffed with that.This tool has a sturdy positive action in use and a comfortable, grippy handle to operate the tool with.The 45 tooth mechanism feels strong, not so with some of the ratchets with more teeth feel as though they aren't so tactile - to me anyway.I would recommend this tool.

This is a solid comfortable to handle piece of kit as always decent teng quality and feels like it will last for years of use.

Used it only twice and the thing keeps locking up ...the thumb swivel may be faulty or it could be because it is new ..I will give in another few months to see if it loosens up

Teng quality is always reassuring.
