I bought two of these in anticipation of an overseas trip a friend of mine and I were planning. We just returned and I wanted to sing the praises of these bags!First of all, they are extremely comfortable to wear - either outside or inside a coat. There is a nice, roomy zippered compartment in which I kept my wallet - easy to access for credit cards & cash (a real plus when running through subway terminals). Next there is a deeper and more secure zippered compartment in which I kept my passport. On one side next to a strap was yet another compartment in which I kept a compact tissue pack and a box of tic-tacs; this one closes with a magnetized snap. Last, at the very bottom of the bag is the largest zippered compartment which was great for stashing travel documents and a nice compact rain poncho (yes, it slipped right in) which sure came in handy in rainy-season Europe.Not only did the bags keep our valuables safe and dry, they left our hands free to take pix, shop, sit down at cafes without having to remove our purses, and generally walk about with no worries. Both of us were amazed at how well-designed these bags and how much we will enjoy them in years to come.Oh, and the colors are great too!

Too bulky

I recently bought a black one similar to this but wanted something in a lighter color for summer. Of the choices I picked this red. It’s equally as useful but not as nice because the fabric is closer to a denim cloth and the lining is very crinkly, noisy. I do like that the phone pocket is slightly larger than my other one which makes it easier to store and retrieve the phone when I need to.

Bag is ok. Idk why someone said it was too bulky. I wish it was a little bigger. I just really wish there was a choice of Left or Right Shoulder. I wear my crossbody bags on my left shoulder. This one didn't offer a choice. I decided to give it a try anyway since I wanted one in brown.
