Con un poco de práctica, no mucha, el pelador funciona perfectamente evitándote la penosa tarea del pelado y desvicerado de gambas y langostinos.

I'm not exactly sure how there are so many people who struggle with this tool, but I've found it to be very helpful and a major upgrade from the methods I'd use prior to buying this tool (I used to use a paring knife or a barbecue skewer). I lay my shrimp in my palm, back side up, then, starting from the head-side of the shrimp, I slide the tool along the back of the shrimp. The tool doesn't shred my shrimp at all and somehow it "catches" all of the shrimp's digestive tract and I can rinse the tool off in a cup of cold water in between each shrimp. I rarely purchase single-purpose kitchen tools, but this one was small enough so that it doesn't take up much more room than say, a butter knife and the amount of time and frustration it saves me makes it worth it.

My wife has to eat gluten-free "bread" which needs to remain frozen until consumed. I pity her, because it's not bread. It's a poor approximation of bread that sucks the joy from all that are forced to consume the starchy abomination. But my wife, bless her for her intestinal fortitude, is forced to use this as a receptacle for otherwise perfectly-good peanut butter. I love her for her determination and steadfastness in trying to pretend this is bread. Woe is her. All the slices of this frozen nightmare stick together, making it a royal pain if she wants a slice of her godawful stand-in for one of the great joys of life. So I got her this clam knife. She now uses the clam knife to separate her "bread" (such as it is). The knife is sturdy, effective, and it doesn't complain about having to be that close to that frozen atrocity. Bonus: it is not sharp enough for her to stab me which is what I firmly believe she would like to do every time I see her bite into that obscenity while I'm having a slice of real bread. Thank you, OXO, for helping my wife not take out her breadless frustrations on me. I wholly recommend your product, because I'm sure it has saved my life a thousand times over. My wife wholeheartedly curses your product, because it means she no longer has a valid reason to not eat the gluten-free blot on humanity that is her "bread". But don't feel bad over her reaction - she knows not what she says when in her breadless rages... Woe is her.

This cracker deserves an award in art. At first glance you just know its love at first sight. If anyone can make a cracker look sexy, Oxo did it perfectly! It reminds me of a fine design out of Italy. It has beautiful lines and a solid look and feel with a strikingly gleaming finish. It's very heavy and it will crack your lobster claws with minimal effort. It's designed to do the job and made to last while looking good and it's worth every penny and more. Very rare to find well made products these days
