MiniDisc Battery
First and foremost I was happy that I was able to buy this battery, as it is hard to come by. - Secondly I think it is of very good quality and stores a lot of power compared to earlier batteries of this kind and Thirdly it was offered with Super Saver Delivery - So I bought 2 batteries, also to be on the safe side having a power supply for a long time to come.

Nowhere near the claimed capacity, but probably the best you're going to get
I realised the other day that my personal CD player is now 16 years old - which probably explains why replacement batteries for it are no longer available from Panasonic. I have now tried two OEM batteries - the ones from Vapex and these from HQRP.Both of these claim to be 1450 mAh capacity, which is actually larger than the 1350 mAh of the original Panasonic batteries. However, neither of the replacement batteries meet the claimed capacity. The original Panasonic batteries power the CD player for 30 hours; the Vapex replacement runs it for around 22-23 hours; the HQRP is slightly better at around 25 hours.So the claimed capacity is nonsense - I'd guess these batteries are around 1000 - 1100 mAh when new, and the capacity will decrease over time. That said, given that both Sony and Panasonic have now stopped manufacture of these (and my original Panasonic batteries are now leaking), the HQRP replacement seems to be the best option available.

Not for Panasonic
Does not work on a Panasonic mini disk or cassette player powers up the dies even on full charge

Cheap!
I was very dubious about this battery when buying it. However, with the original priced almost SEVEN times dearer I decided to buy. First charge lasted nearly two hours. Recharge is still going strong after 3 hours. Can't complain about that as it's used in a portable mini disc recorder. Just proves that the cheapest can be up there with the best.

Utter Rubbish
Using a versatile smart charger, on a discharge/ charge cycle to ensure optimum capacity is reached, they would not go beyond 1100mA, not the advertised 1450mA. Testing them in a standard portable (and known to be working) mini-disc player, the battery failed after playing two long play discs consecutively (about five hours -only playing), it was the same for two fresh and new batteries, utter crap.Sony originals would go for days of constant playing and recording. I have not found an alternative.

Works well with my old Sony WM-EX618
New life for my old Sony WM-EX618.Works at least as good as the original battery, fairly long battery life.I will update post if I see any sudden battery wear in the future.

Perfect replacement for original Sony battery.
Battery was a great match for the original Sony, but unfortunately my mini disc player appears to have an internal fault which means I am unable to provide a proper review because the machine fails to recharge fully.
