Fuel Cell (Modified Gas Lighter) doesn't hold gas
I take this comment back - I was looking in the wrong place.The vendor was on the case immediately and a replacement fuel cell was shipped out. It arrived yesterday - the post here is AWFUL.Thanks for the great service.Appears to be a good product but a full refill of gas escapes in around 5mins. Audible "hissing" sound from filler valve. I have contacted the supplier via the Amazon site 4 days ago (Friday 9Aug). Am still waiting for a response.

Bad product
Bad product. The safety catch does not work and neither does the lighter that cam with it. Waste of money. I will now have to get another brand that hopefully works.

Great product could be improved
Really like the product.It works well 2 little things that could be improved are the trigger is rather stiff to use and hold down and the internal lighter which works as the gas chamber is too small so the gas runs out too often

Excellent product this is my second one the other literally workout after 12 years of daily use. For shrinking heat shrink wire joints its indispensable and can be throughly recommended.

Packed in after using first time.
Used for less than 5 minutes before it then died and doesn't heat up enough to use.

Works for sealing paracord.
It works! It takes about a second to heat up, no naked flame does the job. My only complaint is that the lighter they supply is empty :-( the idea being that you'd fill that using a separate butane can, but it's easy enough to buy lighters cheaply in bulk and remove the flints yourself. Bargain.

Not for what I needed.
Maybe fine for some very small shrink work on joining wires, but I was looking for something to remove vinyl stickers from GRP surface.Didn't work at all to be honest.Easy to use though, just buy a cheap pack of lighters to fuel it.

Poor very slow in shrinking
Not good enough for me , didn’t shrink much to be honest so gave up attachment loseNot sure what it would be good for
