This laptop stand is simple, but well made from solid materials - it just does its job and does it really well. I now own three of them - one for the office, one for home and one for my child's laptop. It has a good range of useful angles, for either eye height viewing (when using with additional keyboard and mouse) or shallower angles when using onboard keyboard. Is sturdy enough for typing for a decent amount of time. The whole thing opens and sets-up easily and quickly and p[acks-up nice and small to fit away pretty much anywhere. It is sturdy and robust and my first has lasted years and still looks as good as new. Nothing fancy, nothing clever, but may be one of my best (and definitely best value for money given it is used almost every day) Amazon purchases ever!

Very sturdy. Almost no wobbles if opened to full width. The rubber pads are good; they stick well to the table and hold a 14-inch laptop very well at the highest angle. It has a good selection of angles (the measurements are approximately: 13, 22, 30, 35, 40, and 43 degrees). I also like the collapsed form. It's very convenient.

Very nice and compact, very sturdy and lightweight. Laptop is kept raised and the varying angles are especially useful. The travel pouch is ideal as I can take the stand with me when on my travels. Product does exactly what you need it to do.

Really good quality! Much smaller than the plastic version I have. Because it is doesn't flex it is so much more secure at holding my 17" laptop!! I was shocked how secure holds as it is small, nearly pocket size! The drawstring bag is of a good quality! Highly recommend!

The Drawback (Why it lost a star): The only real drawback, and the reason I’m docking one star, is the amount of protective padding. The areas where the laptop frame rests could do with a little bit more rubber to keep it from scratching your laptop's aluminum or plastic casing over time. The existing pads are quite thin and sparse. I recommend users who buy this either handle their laptop very gently when placing it on the stand or consider adding a thin strip of felt or silicone bumper tape themselves for extra peace of mind. Overall: If you need an adjustable, portable, and sturdy stand on a budget, this is a great purchase. Just take preventative measures with extra padding if you are concerned about maintaining the pristine finish of your laptop.

Ein sehr praktisches Teil, erlaubt es das Notebook neben den Hauptbildschirm zu stellen, so sind beide relativ gut auf einer Höhe: perfekt für die Arbeit. Weiterer Vorteil: so braucht das Notebook weniger Stellfläche. Eben ideal um den Notebookbildschirm am Arbeitsplatz mit eigener Tastatur und Maus als Zweitbildschirm zu nutzen. Ausserdem gefällt an dem Notebookständer dass er nicht aus billigem Kunststoff sondern aus leichtem Aluminium(sinter?) gefertigt ist. Das macht ihn recht unkaputtbar und dennoch problemlos und ohne sich einen Bruch zu heben in der Notebooktasche überallhin mitzunehmen. Aber: das Ding ist so günstig, das muss man gar nicht mitnehmen, ich hab jeweils einen fürs Homeoffice und einen fürs Büro gekauft.

So useful to carry around and adjust laptop height

Great for throwing in the bag. I move between workstation and usually connect to external monitors and this just works for me. raises the hight enough to put me laptop in line with my monitors. wouldn't recommend for laptops bigger than 15" it might get unstable especially if you still type on your laptop in a raised position.
