Beautiful sparkle and sheen
The thread is exactly what I wanted. The spool, however, leaves MUCH to be desired. The thread was half off the spool when I received it -- literally, it had slid up and was laying there in a clump. I slid it back down as best I could, but it is still a mess. I actually *needed* the thread when I ordered it, and did not have time to send it back and get a replacement (that may very well have been in the same or worse shape than the one I got), so I kept it. I have to wind it onto an empty spool or onto bobbins in order to use it, it cannot be used off the spool as of yet. I expect as the spool is depleted there will come a point where it will finally be past all the tangles and clumps and I'll be able to use it as intended, but that time ain't now!The thread is beautiful. I am using it on a Janome MC 15000 and also a Janome MC 12000, and it works with both at 600 stitches per minute. It is not brittle like some metallics -- I often have to slow metallics down to 400 or 500 to keep them from snapping every time you blink, but this one works just fine at 600. That appears to be the cutoff though because at faster speeds (700+) it begins breaking and snapping. If the spool had been "right" this would be a very happy 5 star rating. Because of the mess in the envelope when I got it, and the amount of thread I've lost to tangles as I'm trying to use it, this is a 3 instead. I shouldn't have to take the time and bother to sit and wind it off onto small spools in order to use my large spool!

Stiff like fishing line or metal wire
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Stiff as fishing line, constantly breaks, spool is cardboard crap and poorly wound.

Green very twisted on the spool
I really love the color of this thread and was looking forward to using it for some projects. I already had the red is used previously and the quality of the red seemed great. The quality of this green thread doesn’t seem the same. With all the same settings and set up that was perfect for the red, the green keeps breaking or twisting as it comes off the spool. It doesn’t seem to be wound onto the spool well, as the thread itself is twisted. I tried pulling quite a bit of the thread off hoping it would be better further in, but it wasn’t. I was a bit disappointed, especially since the red spool I have was great.

WASTE OF MONEY!
When I went to use this thread, there were a bunch of broken threads and I couldn't find the correct thread to pull. When I finally found it, it was tangled up with all the other threads and I spent almost 20 minutes trying to untangle it. I tried actually using the thread and it continued to break while I was trying to sew it. And this was trying to hand-sew, NOT EVEN using my machine! I just ended up pulling the few unbroken threads out of the design I was making. Now I have a little less than 5,000 yards of TOTALLY USELESS THREAD! I thought I was getting a good deal because it was only $9.99, but it is clear that I have wasted that money. I guess the old adage, "you get what you pay for" is true.

Breaks easy
Bought this to serge the edges of off white chiffon because I did not like how cordon looked. I’m not sure if it said it could be used in a serger or not. I ran a extra spool full of this to have 3 threads. I don’t think I’ll try it again. Although I was able to serger the edges, I had a lot of trouble with thread breaking and had to stop numerous times to retread.

Fluorescent green inner thread
The copper/orange is wrapped around a fluorescent green thread that shows through. Completely unusable.

Not user-friendly
Poor quality. Not enough information in the description to let you know that this is not the same consistency as regular sewing thread. Nodded up trying to wind a bobbin many times. The holding slot on the tip kept catching the thread and breaking. Not user-friendly.
