Bought one from another vendor first, it didn’t work no matter how many times we tried, the water kept running. Returned that one and bought this one. Only took one try following the instructions, done and done! Hopefully it will last as long as the original one did.

Buyer beware!
Buyer beware! We manage several properties and have three flushmate toilets. They.re great units with one caveat: when they fail they leak a lot. A normal toilet will leak with a trickle that will cost a lot only over an extended period. If you have a flushmate and an unaware tenant you can be out $hundreds$ in water and sewer bills. The water just gushes through the system like a wide open faucet.Which brings us to this purchase. Just went through a costly failure of 8 year old flushmate, bought this Amazon one, a few months later we go in and it has failed. No idea until the bills come if it ran for 5 minutes or 5 weeks. Disgusted.

Once installed you need to cycle it several times for it to settle in. So just buy a 6 pack and enjoy the break in party! Very good.
