Ordered this by accident but it was a happy accident. Instead of returning this, I added it to one particularly smelly litter box. Smell instantly disappeared. Works so much better than baking soda. Doesn’t require much. Lasted the entire week before I changed the litter.Ordered the spray poof too. It’s a miracle! Kitten peed on a non washable doll and my kid hid it. When I found it, it was a mess. The clothes were made of organza and satin. Smell and stain instantly gone, blocked with paper towel. Definitely use something to absorb the wetness.

I have to say, POOPH is a miracle product when it comes to controlling litter box odors. I’ve tried every spray, deodorizer, and litter additive out there—nothing even comes close. With POOPH, the smell is actually gone, not just masked with fragrance.I have one cat and even with regular scooping, the litter box can get unpleasant fast. A few shakes of POOPH, and the odor disappears almost instantly. It’s safe around my cat, doesn’t leave any residue, and has no strong scent of its own—which I really appreciate.If you’re a cat owner struggling with litter box smells, this stuff is the real deal. I’m seriously impressed and anyone who comes into my house is shocked to find out that I even have a cat.

This is a great product! I have 3 cats and the catbox is a busy place. Each time I do a complete box change, I sprinkle a light layer on the bottom of the box and then add the sand. After the box is full with sand, I then sprinkle a light layer of Pooph on top and then I mix it into the sand. This product makes cleaning the catbox so much easier because it makes the clumping of urine much better and the odor control is EXCEPTIONAL. With this powder and Pooph spray (for quick odor control) they make me feel so much better about the smell in my home.

Stuff works great but it's really too expensive

This product is FANTASTIC!!!!!We have 3 litter boxes for 4 cats and no one believes that the boxes do not smell!Safe fir our pets, just sprinkle some on the litter and you are good to go!

I have used the spray Pooph in the past and it works well to control odor, but I have 6 kitties and we have 2 Litter Robots and an extra large cat pan in the bathroom. My problem is my kitties like to poop when I do, and the smell is really bad. The directions say to sprinkle it on fresh litter, but I just couldn’t wait. I used 3 tablespoons after I cleaned the litter box, and mixed it in. The pan smelled better, but the next morning the litter looked fresher and I could hardly see any evidence of pee in the litter. The advertisement said the litter is supposed to last longer, and it has made the litter super absorbent. I don’t know how long this bottle is supposed to last, but maybe I will report on that later. When we change the litter in the Litter Robots I will put 3 tablespoons in each one and see what happens.I started Pooph with new litter and there is NO SMELL! The litter has lasted about 3 weeks in my bathroom cat pan with nightly cleaning. The smell returned today and it was time to add new litter. I initially put 3 scoops of Pooph and mixed it in well. I also used an entire pail of multi cat clumping litter, because I use a Rubbermaid container for a cat box. Poop and pee scoop out in hard clumps. I found a tablespoon scoop with a little cup on the end, so I use the tablespoon end for the initial setup and the tiny scoop on the other end for the recommended sprinkle after scooping the litter. Usually just one tiny scoop does the trick. The litter clumps better and there is no black stuff forming on the bottom of the pan until the last week. I really love this stuff, as I no longer gag a maggot when I use the bathroom. My one suggestion for improvement is that what would it take for the company to include a tablespoon scoop? Then it would be perfect.We are also using it in the litter robots in the utility room, with no smells coming from there either. My son is adding 1 tablespoon each time he adds litter to his bots. We have more than half a jar left after 1 month, so I am estimating that it will last for 2 months with 2 litter robots and 1 large cat pan for 6 cats. Not too bad.

If you're using a regular, non-clumping litter, this product might help with odor control. I tried using it on top of the Tidy Cat Breeze pellets, and it did seem to reduce the urine smell somewhat—similar to how baking soda works. However, once it got wet, it expanded and turned into a kinetic sand-like texture, soaked with urine. It swelled up at the bottom of the litter tray and made a huge mess. The parts that remained on top were hard to scoop because they crumbled apart. The positive part was my cats did not notice it so it did not hamper them using the litterbox.
