Bought this a couple of years ago and have used it regulary ever since. Makes a decent sized mug of coffee in a matter of minutes not some little cup. Is really easy to clean, takes up little space, and the cup keeps the coffee warm for hours. I bought the non timer version as it was on offer but have paired it with a smart plug so you can get Alexa to turn it on on and off. Great to walk downstairs to the smell of fresh coffee. Only fault I can think it has which really isnt a problem it it doesnt havea a drip tray so if you don't let it brew out completely it will drip. Other than that would highly recommend great bit of kit for the price

I have really enjoyed this product. Its a quiet machine, and really straightforward to load up with water and your grounded coffee beans. Switch on, start the brewing process, and you are all good. You can pop a mug in there instead, and so long as you switch it off mid process, can have brewed coffee in a cup as well. Found it great value for money and multi purpose. I am happy.

I am in the unusual position of agreeing with the other reviewer whether they have given this 1 star or 5 stars. Everyone, however, can make using this coffee machine a five star experience with a few workarounds (I've only rated as four stars overall because I shouldn't have to workaround like this but it is definitely worth it for me). I don't normally write reviews but I have written this one so that you can decide whether this will be a 1 star or a 5 star machine for you. It makes terrible coffee by default. It is so weak because it just pours through quickly and there is no option to adjust strength. By removing the re-usable filter though and replacing with filter paper (I've found the Hario VCF-02-100W Dripper Filter to be best although you do have to fold the top centimetre or two over), I think the coffee tastes even better than from my favourite Tassimo. My old Tassimo machine had broken and I did not want to keep on using so many pods that are difficult to recycle but I was wrongly expecting to have to compromise on taste as I do not have the room for a bean-to-cup option. The icing on the cake for me though is that the power button is mechanical with a satisfying click to confirm it is engaged. This is important because it means you can switch the machine to 'on' even when there is not actually any power to the machine (being switched off at the wall or, more usefully, because your Alexa-enabled smart plug is set to off). By using a smart-plug, I can now ask Alexa to turn the coffee machine off at night, load up the coffee plus water and switch the button on the side of the machine to 'on'. In the morning, I can use the Echo Dot in my bedroom to tell Alexa to turn the coffee machine on. I also use ifttt to automatically turn the coffee machine on when I have set the alarm on my Echo Dot. If, for some reason, I have not prepared the coffee machine the night before there are no problems caused because the ifttt command to turn on the coffee machine has no impact. Now I have a smart coffee machine making lovely coffee (I write this while drinking my second cup of the day) but is simple to use (no apps to mess around with after the initial setup - just use manually through the day and let Alexa take care of the morning). It is also easy to keep clean because I am using filter paper. Because I was already using Echo throughout my home, the cost was just the machine itself and a smart plug which came to less than a dumb Tassimo and much less than the WeMo smart coffee maker. Highly recommended for any smart-home, coffee-drinking enthusiasts.

Love it. So portable. I use it when I travel. I even make tea in it. Rinse the filter then stick two teabags in it. Makes a nice cuppa. I use the plastic cup to fill the tank & brew the drink, then pour into a normal mug, just a personal preference.

Given as a Xmas present and the person loved it, was so happy and wasn’t even an expensive item just good for its purpose and easy to use. Looks exactly as the picture.

Compact size, quiet to run and could be great. After the first three cups all ran with no issue, full cups and approx 4 mins brew time, I thought this was ideal. Since then; using the same cup, same ground coffee and nothing changing, it stopped making full cups. I have to press the brew button up to four times to get a full cup and use the water in the tank. I’ve even had to reduce the coffee grounds way below the max line as the water pools in the filter which is likely to be kicking the auto shut off. It’s moved brew time for a cup to almost 7 mins depending on how many times you have to press the button. Plastic lid feels a little flimsy but doesn’t leak.

Love this one cup maker. Use everyday for tea, coffee. Neat size, doesn’t take up room. Quick in use and hot just how it should be. No leaks so far. Would totally recommend. Worth the money.

Perfect for the office! My husband refuses to drink instant and a cafetière just doesn’t cut it, I bought this as a surprise and he was genuinely excited to try it out. For weeks I got daily pics of it in use and he brings it home so we can take it on holiday. It’s great being able to make a proper coffee without any waste. The cup provided is a really decent size and to brew it takes no time at all. Highly recommend.

Simple, compacte et très pratique pour un usage domestique. Petit bémol sur le couvercle qui ne tient pas super bien. Mais comme je n'en ai pas souvent besoin, ça ne me gêne en rien.
