These 90 second packets are extremely simple and easy. Hot, real, vaguely healthy food in 90 seconds with no mess. Decent serving size. Nice flavor choices. Makes a great quick snack or easy side dish. The only caution is please follow the instructions. ALL of them. Really. If you don't tear the vent hole properly and don't grab it by the right cool spot, you could really burn your hand. And if you don't sort of knead the bag before cooking, it stays in lumps and doesn't cook right. So really, really follow the simple instructions.

I’ve always loved these Ready Rice packs from Ben’s Original. So i figured I’d try these. I was leery of buying them online and having them shipped to me as food quality can vary under these circumstances but the ones that were sent to me are as tasty and high quality as at the local market.

This is straight fire for saving money and being tasty. I pair it with canned chicken and mixed veggies. Literally so good and healthy in combination.

Ben's cheddar broccoli rice is delicious. I found it at a supermarket and when I went back it wasn't there. Figuring this was going to be another one of those items I like the best and suddenly disappear, I bought the 12 pack and am very happy! Delicious and convenient . I add garbanzo beans also known as chickpeas to make a good protein combination. Love it!

Was expecting better taste. Prep was really easy, just vent bag, toss in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. I think next time would be better if I “doctor” it up a little bit, maybe add some diced chicken

Not worth the money. The only good thing about it was quick cook time.

The rice isn't dry, but if you're hoping for a bit of a creamy texture from the cheese, it doesn't have that going for it. The broccoli is the double edged sword here. They don't skimp on it but the fact that it's not fresh comes through in a bad way for me. I don't dislike the rice since it's not dry and has a strong enough cheddar flavor, but I'll never crave it since it doesn't have the casserole texture I'm craving and the broccoli comes off more like something I'm willing to put up with rather than truly enjoy. I'll be going through a 12 pack that I bought on the lower end of the price range. I'm considering sharing at the office to get through them faster, definitely buy a single pouch and try it first even if a 12 pack is at a good price.
