Bad alignment
The circuit looks pretty good, the acrylic mount holes do not quite align though (they are off by about 2-3mm)...we'll see how well it works...looks like the solder pads could use some solder build-up and connected to the brass power rails. Also, there's a cutout for a fan, but no fan in the kit...I'm gonna add a fan

it works but
what is the point of having brass bars to carry higher current if they do not extend to the screw pads? the trace on mine popped like a firecracker. luckily i was able to solder a bridge from the eye terminal to the brass bar.other than that, it works for the cost. a little inconsistent though. and what is the need for so many gears?

Works Great! Perfect! Rebuilt 5 packs so far for my DeWalt and Milwaukee power tools
You need minimum 3 cell lipo 5000mah 35 to 50c continuous or 4 cell 5000mah lipo 45c. With those 2 sizes of lipo packs setting 50 on super mode welds perfectly.. they are stronger than the factory welds. If you get a good weld you will feel the tips of the electrodes sink into the nickel strip and you will need to twist the electrode to break it free after welding. If those 2 things don't happen then you didn't get a good weld

Not a fan!
Tried 3 different batteries and most of the settings and it still wouldnt make a good weld on my batteries. I gave it to my friend and purchased a real spot welder.

Dangerous
No settings allow the use of trigger mechanism like foot pedal or hand controlled discharge pen. On the lowest possible setting I blasted a whole in the bottom of my test cell. That’s 2 HUGE safety concerns on my first two tests so packed it up and sent it back. I’m sure that amazon and the seller would have worked to replace it with a functional unit but when working with electronics that can stop my heart I prefer to have fait in them. If you did get a good one- the provided cables and probes are junk. You can see aluminum corrosion on the “copper” wires. The plastic case that costs an extra $10 doesn’t fit unless forced to bow out on each side.

Looks impressive, didn't work.
I purchased this unit not because it was one of the cheaper units, but because all the components were visible through the provided clear plastic covers. The unit looks good, the power and welding cables are a good size and there appears to be plenty of adjustment available for what's needed. Unfortunately, the unit did not perform. I tried and tested every hookup possibility and connection according to the instructions, tried several different power supplies but the unit would only throw a current pulse once in a while and not consistently. Power settings appeared to make no difference at all. Returned.

The traces blew up! Find a welder with bus bars rather than wires
Even when this worked for the first 10 welds, it just kinda sucked. Wires on a spot welder are a no-go in general so find yourself something with solid bus bars.Assuming the PCB is designed well, most losses occur in the cabling rather than the FETs. Anything with cables will lose too much energy there, which you can tell by how hot they get. This unit has worst of both worlds, has lossy cabling and bad PCB design.

Seller is super helpful and won't leave you hanging
It works pretty good but you got to make sure you use the correct battery. The holes don't line up perfectly but I was still able to assemble it. After about 40 days I had a issue and the seller immediately resolved it with zero issues. I highly recommend this seller.
