Klein Tools Safety Helmet, Type-2 Safety Helmet, Vented, Class C

We trialed multiple Class 2 helmets before deciding on the Klein. These fit better and feel more comfortable to the whole crew that the Milwaukee. Plus, they cost less. All these newer helmets look weird compared to the old school ones but the safety benefits, weight, and build make them worthwhile. Now the guys don't want to ever wear the old hardhats.

Something a lot of people don't know, is "Type-2" means it protects against you walking into stuff, or things being launched up at you. Good thing these work well, otherwise I'd be brainless.

Love it! My company was just using off brand basic hard hats and once a few guys got this we all did. Definitely way cooler and more comfortable for long hours on the job site. Klein also make an LED light upgrade that’s awesome.

A very safe and comfortable helmet. I like it because you can attach brand accessories like lights to it, and it's a helmet that I needed at my current job. I think it's nice.

First of all it's light weight so after adjusting the chin strap and locking the adjustable strap to fit head properly don't even know you got it on.the helmet moves with you with no restriction and because of the chin strap don't have to worry about it falling off your head when looking up and working above .have hit my head on over head 4 inch conduit barely felt the impact.best part is the air vents which allow cool air to enter and keep head from overheating .this did not work with my kask helmet which has no vents so the inner helmet builds condensation causing moisture to fall down onto my face and down my neck.plus the kask helmet inner liner cannot come apart from the helmet to properly clean .with the klein all interior can be removed to clean and sanitize .light that it comes with is great as well .can light up a dark room properly to work in as well as adjust to a downward position so your not straining your neck while wiring panels installing outlets or working above on lighting .the helmet and light combo is well worth the price .the light comes with three light settings allowing for the right shade of light and is rechargeable so don't have to worry about batteries to replace .has rechargeable led light scale on the side telling you the percentage of battery life so not to be left in the dark.light also an be used a spot light because of the magnet on the back of it .used it wiring up subpumps down a 5 ft. Pit just attached to the frame and lit up the area just fine to work .
