Beacon Light - Antique Bronze

The sturdy, vintage look in combination with the comfortable, warm light it creates makes this an absolute winner.The only thing I personally did not like is the fact that the carabiner is the power on/off/dim switch. That is not ideal for when moving around, like hanging it on a backpack etc. However, if you are planning to use it as a more permanent fixture or hang it somewhere immobile, I can imagine that just being able to give the lantern a wee spin to power on/off or dim the lantern, would actually be a good thing!

I bought this for our tent but had to bust it out for a blackout, Its a nice small size and light weight so roaming around with it wasn't an issue for anyone in the house. It came half charged when we first bought it but I topped the battery up the day of and it lasted the entire 4ish hours with more than enough juice to use it for a long while more, we used it on varying settings between low and high throughout those 4 hours. got mine on a sale and while its definitely worth the normal price point I snagged mine for around 26 which I think is an absolute steal for how versatile it is. ALSO almost forgot but I love that the charge cable is attached to it and is hidden under its little rim! I didn't realize that was one of its features when I purchased it, really clever design and one less cord for me to have to dig out and find. Will probably end up buying a few more of these little guys in the future.

Je fais une comparaison avec la Olight olantern mini qui lui ressemble un peu. Niveau taille elles sont à peu près de la même taille et ici c’est le même coloris. Design sympa, la Barebones est un peu plus légère que la Olight. Le câble intégré est pratique mais comme les câbles sont souvent fragiles, comment faire si le câble devient défectueux ? Un port usb-c aurait été plus logique qu’un port usb-A mais ce n’est pas rédhibitoire. J’ai plusieurs lanternes de chez Barebones, celle ci semble plus fragile. Mais ce qui me dérange le plus c’est que je trouve que la lumière est trop blanche pour une lanterne, j’aurais voulu un ton plus chaud comme la Olight. J’ai relevé environ 3200k au niveau de la température, pour moi c’est trop pour une lanterne, ça s’apparente davantage à une lampe. Sur la photo à côté de la Olight on a l’impression qu’elle renvoie une lumière plus chaude mais sur la photo de droite on voit mieux. Pour la solidité À voir dans le temps

Die kleine Lampe lässt sich aufgrund ihres relativ geringen Gewichts gut im Zelt und über dem Tisch am Zweig aufhängen oder beim Weg vom Zelt zum stillen Ort in der Hand tragen. Nicht übermäßig hell, doch für diese Zwecke vollkommen ausreichend. Und dass man sie auch mal hinstellen kann, macht sie noch sympatischer. Wer die blauen LED nicht mag oder nicht braucht, kann sie abkleben.
