2 Gang Outdoor Weatherproof/Waterproof Socket Box

Unfortunately not a standard size as plug socket section bolts did not match up with product screw hole, had to improvise in the end but you get what you pay for, just a tip if you are replacing a broken box check with supplier that your existing plug socket section fits the boxes screw holes

Bought this box to go in my daughters wendy house as there was already wiring out to there in the shed it replaced.Box is of strong construction and has template holes that can be knocked out , I fixed it to the wood panel and it feels very sturdy on there. One thing it doesn't come with is a rubber cable feed that bungs the hole up, not a problem for me, but if it's going outside it will mean you have a hole bigger than the wire where the wire goes in, unless you drill carefully so you have a hole just big enough, I did try this but the whole template popped out, probably should have drilled somewhere other than the template hole.It has a loop for a padlock which is ideal as when my daughter gets a bit bigger she might try and access it, so locking it up is great.It loses a start for not having a rubber bung that is needed to make it waterproof and because the rubber pads that seal around the wire look they will fall off after a reasonable amount of use.

A quality made product , very sturdy. I needed this to enclose a timer switch for a pond waterfall so only needed the enclosure , however it arrrived with a swiched 2 gang socket which is not pictured(I will use this elsewhere). Fixing screws are also provided and the lid is removable which helps with fitment.

The only thing wrong was the product was a little late but the electrical box is fine

I fitted a double mains socket with USB chargers on my veranda. Fab.

A decent bow with a good tight closing lid worth the money
