I noticed in some of the reviews people had an allergic reaction to this sunscreen. For me that is not the case at all. I consider myself to have combo/sensitive/acne prone skin and I am in my mid 30s. I am currently on prescription hydroquinone tretinoin given to me by my dermatologist for discoloration and skin issues. As you can imagine wearing sunscreen with this medication is absolutely crucial. I am not able to wear chemical sunscreens right now due to my skin being extra sensitive. This mineral sunscreen blends out like a dream leaving no white cast on my skin. It is not greasy and wears well under makeup and over my moisturizer. It is an “every day” sunscreen for me. If I’m going to the pool or beach I will change to a higher spf with water resistance from eltamd. I would describe the finish of this sunscreen as natural leaning a little bit matte but not too matte to where it drys out my skin. All I know is when I wear this my face doesn’t get greasy and it layers well with other things on my face. That is more than I can say for more mineral sunscreens. If you buy this sunscreen I highly suggest you do a patch test before applying it all over your face. I have had no issues with rashes or it breaking me out. This is a 100% honest review I was not sent this product for free! I just am thrilled to find a mineral sunscreen that isn’t greasy because most of them are in my experience. It also blends like a dream and there is literally no white cast which is rare. To me it looks like it has a very slight tint. It is not stark white in my opinion. It’s almost like an ivory color with a cool toned base. Pictures I posted are of the sunscreen applied on my hand, then blending it and immediately after it’s blended in. It sets down quicker than other mineral sunscreens I’ve used in the past which is a HUGE plus for me.

My combo acne prone skin loves this!! I don’t feel a gross layer of product on my face. It layers nicely with my makeup, and honestly gives a nice somewhat mini filter to the skin so if I really want to I can just pop concealer over this and call it good. I really love the color of it. It is somewhat on the pricey side. Worth it if it works. I do love how it works into the skin nicely. If anyone is struggling (including anyone with beautiful deeper shades of skin) what I also recommend is Amarte ultra veil, it has a beautiful color to it that looks great with deeper or tanned tones. Also Krave beauty beet the sun is another fave of mine just in general for light weight and acne.Honestly, I pushed this to first place for me! But these are my new top 3 faves.

The sunscreen is so light weight and looks perfect! I use it every morning.

This gave me the worst allergic reaction/ chemical burn. After two days, my skin broke up with little inflamed bumps and its red and irritated. I do not recommend. Reviews on Sephora say similar. Do not buy!

I've been using Summer Fridays SPF and it's fantastic! It keeps my dry skin hydrated, absorbs quickly, and leaves no white cast. It's a bit on the pricier side, and the 50ml bottle runs out quickly, so you need to restock often. However, the quality and effectiveness make it worth every penny. It's lightweight, perfect under makeup, and hasn't caused any breakouts. Highly recommend!
