So far, so good. No stomach upset or issues with this. Too soon to know if it actually meets or exceeds advertising, but the no stomach upset is a big thing for me.

Contains Dong Quai which is not recommended for estrogen sensitive individuals.
Overall, this seems to be a good quality probiotic but there is one added ingredient that may or may not be right for you.It is made in the US in a cGMP certified facility and they claim it is non GMO. There are 16 probiotic strains, of which they claim 3 are proprietary and clinically tested and effective for certain purposes. Many of the strains are well known and believed to be beneficial. I went to the brand website and could not find any further information on the proprietary strains or studies though. It is noted on the bottle that those statements have not been evaluated by the FDA.They are shelf stable and do not require refrigeration. They expire about 8 to 9 months out from when I received them (a year from the manufacture date on the bottle). You get a 30 capsule supply in the bottle with one per day as suggested use. I have seen this bottle priced between approximately $18 and $50. So it may seem like a better or worse value depending on the price at time of purchase. They contain 50 billion CFUs at expiration date under recommended storage conditions. Store in a cool dry place away from heat and sunlight. The colored bottle will help protect the capsules from light. Probiotics with higher CFUs like this usually are fairly expensive (I'd say I see many in the $30-50 range.)An important thing to note:1) It doesn't say anything about prebiotics on the bottle. But the newer listing explains that the herb Dong Quai is included as a prebiotic to help stimulate growth of good bacteria. So note that it does contain this herb. The herb was not noted on the original listing when I purchased but it does appear to have been updated. (I think this is a newer product.)2) About Dong Quai: It is 75mg dose. It doesn't sound like a high dosage but research has not determined a safe dose. It is however, worth noting that many medical sites recommend NOT taking this supplement if you are at risk for estrogen sensitive cancers such as uterine or breast cancer. It may or may not have estrogenic effects. Research seems inconsistent on this. It may also slow blood clotting and you should check with a doctor if you take any other clotting related medications including aspirin. In short, read up on the herb and check with your doctor if you have any medical conditions or take any other medications. In high doses it can also make your skin sensitive to the sun. That part is probably not an issue with the smaller dose here. However, I am not a medical practitioner. Just know what you may be sensitive to and decide if this herb is right for you.I have taken probiotics and digestive enzymes for a while now. It is always difficult to know the true effect they have. I have only been taking this one about a week. I haven't noticed any positive or negative change so far. You do need to take these things consistently for a while to see results though. Usually between one and three months if you are new to probiotics. My digestion works well at the moment. So I consider a daily probiotic as "insurance" to maintain better gut health. That, along with eating a healthy diet. I do wonder if this particular formula would be better if it contained different prebiotics with less possible side effects for some people. I may not have selected this probiotic if I knew it had dong quai. I will need to do more reading on that and decide if it is something I want to take ongoing.I also included a photo of the capsule next to coins and next to an OTC ibuprofren tablet. I know many people don't like large capsules so I thought that could be helpful for some to see. It's pretty moderate in size and neutral in taste. It probably wouldn't be difficult for too many people to take.Overall, I can recommend this as having a good variety of strains considered to be useful. But I also think the price point will determine whether it is worth it for some. I would probably choose a different probiotic for myself though. Something that included different prebiotics and didn't have the herb Dong Quai. That's my personal preference. Others may like the formulation with the added herb.

Good to take
It’s a good product to have for females especially for reoccurring yeast. It’s great for women who live in those tropical/hot countries

Developed by a female orthopedic surgeon to help "defend your body against aging and stress"
NOVAMD by Dr. Vonda NAD+ Boosting Supplement, Nicotinamide Riboside for Cellular Energy MetabolismAs per the packaging, this, and a variety of other supplements, was created by Dr. Vonda Wright, a respected orthopedic surgeon and published authority on longevity, aging, and women's health. It's purported to help defend your body against aging and stress, and to help manage key issues associated with aging. The star ingredient is 300mg of b-Nicotinamide Mononucleotide, which has been shown in studies to help with NADplus (a crucial molecule for cellular metabolism) as well as supporting physical energy, muscle function, and heart health (of course all of these claims followed by the asterisk stating that these claims have not been evaluated by the FDA and that this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease).I'm a woman in my 50's and definitely in the demographic that this product is targeted for. All of it's claims sound like things that would be beneficial for me. Dr. Vonda has her own website where she sells her products and gives information about herself. She's written books, appeared on TV, has been a keynote speaker. She seems to be well-known and respectable. This product is made in the USA. It appears to be legit and safe. This bottle contains a 30-day supply (one per day) and sells for around $50 per bottle. The capsules contain a beige powder and have an odor but are easy to take. As with most supplements it's almost impossible to measure any actual results until after an extended length of consistent use. I've been taking this daily for about two weeks and have had no noticeable results, however I have been sick for about the past week so my energy level has been extra low. I'm not sure I would be motivated to spend the money on this without having any noticeable measurable results, but it does seem to be a good product and I will definitely finish up the bottle and see how I feel at the 30-day mark.
