Just know that if you buy this, they don’t sell ink cartridges
After being on a conversation with the manufacturer for 40 minutes, they inform me that they don’t sell nor have replacement cartridges of ink ribbonSo just know if you purchase it, it has a shelf life of however long the ink ribbon will last this is the most stupid company to do business with and I highly recommend that if you’re considering making this purchase, you get your head examined this is a horrific experience as a consumer

a great for small businesses !
I actually requested this punch time clock for the head of the construction crew who has been helping my grandpa with building our family farm since his retirement. He has been a long-time family friend as well. The project ended up being much larger than originally planned, so he had to hire a team of gentlemen to assist him. Previously, when he worked alone or with just a few others, managing the time clock for his employees was not a complicated task with the use of college-ruled notebook of his. However, with the larger team, he needed a better way to track their hours and attendance. I decided to request this punch time clock and brought it to him last month.Setting it up wasn't as difficult as I had anticipated, despite some reviews mentioning a lack of instructions. Fortunately, one of the gentlemen on the team was familiar with this brand, so we were able to set it up quickly. After a couple of weeks of using the time clock, he expressed his appreciation for its efficient time-tracking system, which has saved him from many time-consuming tasks. The material of the clock feels sturdy, and I hope it will last for a long time. In short, I believe this punch time clock is a cost-effective investment for small businesses that could save time and money down the road.

I Am Disappointed Having Selected This. Complicated, Noisy & Unusual
The media could not be loaded. I own other Vevor branded items and have been impressed by all. However, this punch clock of Vevor’s is an exception. It’s beyond complicated to set-up, worse, there are no videos that could assist. I am disappointed and regret getting this. I wanted something simple. There is nothing simple about this. Further, its operation is goofy, it shuts down during the process and its printing function is hard to read and does not reflect the actual time in many instances. It’s an old-fashioned dot-matrix printer that does not do its job well printing “all” numbers. Its failure to do so results in inaccurate if not just plain poor reporting, that will lead me to have to make significant compromises. If I am complaining, then I can conceivably project any of my employees will also.I opine, that for me, this is not capable of doing the job it is supposed to do, for me, in part because it is NOT easy to set-up and does not do simple functions of in and out time reporting. I found it difficult to keep an accurate tracking, even though it is supposed to have six (6) different punch ins and outs a day, which really, in hindsight, is not enough for (1) Shift start, (2) a first break, in/out (3) a lunch/dinner break, in and out, a (4) second break, in/out and then end of shift – which is part of (1). So, that is a total of eight (8), which is over the six (6) unless it can be adjusted on another line, which I do not know how to do, which, therein lies the problem, this is just too complicated. The time clock is compact.Vevor’s time clock arrived in a semi-retail, branded, package, that had some basic information about the model that was inside. The package weighed in at about (4¾) pounds and measured about 11” x 10” x 8”.MechanicsInput voltage is 12v DC. A power supply is included that transforms our 125v AC voltage to that 12v DC. So, this is not a direct wire and there is no battery back-up. Power consumption is a reasonable 2 amps. Interestingly, this has the capability of accepting as much as 240v, which implies this unit is built for world-wide use.ManualA short manual was included, its size is a folded rover sheet of office paper. The total number of pages is (14). There is no QR code allowing me to have scanned to see an electronic version of the manual; nor a video that could have shown a visual example of set-up.Security keys?Yes, two (2) security keys were provided.Timecards?Yes, included, however, a stingy quantity of only two (2) times cards. I think it possible to have included a week or month’s supply for several employees, so not too impressive on this point, for me. The cards are thick, heavy, slippery, durable, and measure about 7½” x 3½”. The cards are double sided, blue on one (1) side and Vevor orange – which is hard to read – on the other. They are not exact, accounting for various information. There are (15) punch spots on the blue side and on the orange side it goes from 16 to 31. Some of the information on the card, that could be entered, is the gender, male or female. There is a signature line on the front of the card. How does the time clock imprint?Through a ribbon cartridge. I think it would have been nice to have had an extra cartridge included. So, once again, I think what was provided was on the stingy side.Power SupplyThe power supply weighed just over four (4) ounces, had a cord of several feet long and was about 3½” tall and about 1½” on the balance of the dimensions. So, somewhat small, and lightweight. A bit positive was that the power supply was ETL listed, which is a good thing, meaning this was third-party tested and met certain United States standards. If I am plugging something that is going to be connected 24/7, I want peace of mind that it was a tested electrical device.Criticism(s)This could be either desk or wall mounted. There should be either an indentation or handle on this, allowing for one-handed rather than two-handed holding/moving. What’s with the electronic music? It sounds like an inexpensive door chime. The security key inserts to remove the top front fascia is cheap feeling, I thought it broke, but it was not, just a bit flimsy. [It allows access to internal settings.]Time clockWhen plugged in, the large face lights-up a pacific ocean deep blue. The screen size is 4¼” x 2”. The numbers are about (1”) tall.Time it takes? It takes over (12) seconds for the timecard to be pulled, the timekeeper to go through its machinations, then for the timecard to be printed, and then returned. That’s too long.Country of origin?Made in China. If I were to buy this again, I would only do so with the purchase of an Amazon extended warranty.I hope my thoughts added information

Good Value
For $99 you can not go wrong. This time clock was not difficult to set up and it works well, prints clearly and punches accurately. If you need a basic time clock that works for under $100 this one may be a good choice for you. I am pleased with it and I would buy again. 5 STARS

Our office is still a little old school!
So our office is still a little old school. We like our physical timesheets vs virtual timesheets. We like our ribbon print vs thermal print. We like how it auto-punches the sheets too. You just identify what type of punch it is and you insert the card. The music is a little corny and disturbing in a quiet office but we can get over it. Setting it up was a little challenging but in the end, we got it working well. Not a bad product for us thus far.

JUNK!!!!!!
I would not recommend this product. It did not print correctly and stopped working 6 months after we purchased it.

I thought it worked great but keeps clocking in the next day over the line on the day before
The directions are absolutely horrible as far as explaining what you are setting up, why, and how to make it work best. Uses directions only understandable for someone in the biz with abbreviations not explained. At first I thought this was working well. But my employees now just write in the time they clock in. Why? Because as soon as they clock in the next day the clock in time is printed over their day before. They can clock out right. But the morning clock in always prints OVER the prior day. We have tried all kinds of adjustments to no avail. Checked AM/PM etcSo even if it is something we are doing wrong, we couldn't know because the directions are only written for someone who works in the company and knows what they mean. We had 4 people try to figure it out and we are at a loss. So I updated my review from the first day after we found out that this ongoing problem cannot be solved.I then use an online work calculator to add up the hours on the card and pay based on salary.
