Collecting grass clippings
This is an excellent product which collects grass clippings as they are cut at the edges of the lawn. I use it before mowing the lawn, simply emptying the clippings on the lawn before they are picked up by the mower. This is the second one I've had - the first lasted many years before the attaching pegs broke, but this was fair wear and tear. After a number of years, the self-adhesive piece came unstuck, but I cleaned it and re-stuck it with Araldite - I'm now using that original piece with the new collecting box. All in all a very useful piece of equipment that saves a lot of tedious work.

Very useful product
I love clipped edges, but hate picking them up so this product had to be purchased. It makes the job much easier and leaves you with a cleaner finish. If just edging a lawn it’s perfect but just need to bear in mind that if like me you have edging stones around a flower bed within the grass you need quite a wide gully between the two to allow for the extra width of the box on the shears. We just cut the gully a little wider to allow space. Now I get a perfect job every time without bending down so much. Very pleased.

It works!
The ClipperBox is easy to construct though you need to carefully clean the blade before attaching the box to the sheers using the adhesive strip.Delivered as promised and I used it today. It worked very well and saved me a job I hate - going back over the ground to gather the cuttings.UPDATE: used the clippers twice and the box has now detached from the blade. It would seem the glue arrangement wasn't strong enough to maintain attachment. I followed the directions for glueing regarding a clean blade etc. I am now very disappointed and hope the supplier will send me a replacement.

Excellent product that collects grass when you edge the lawn or a bowling green
When trimming edges of lawn collects clippings and saves a considerable amount of time rthat would otherwise be needed to clear them from the ditch around the green. Also used for trimming the grass around a bowling green 160 meters, where you do not want the clippings to fall into the ditch and rot if not collected up that adds a considerable amount of time to the task.

Brilliant well made product
Standard of moulding excellent. Instructions faultless. Adhesion on fitment superb. Made in England at a decent price.I rang the manufacturer to tell him all the above. Impressed, very impressed. If you already have a grass catcher go and break it immediately and get your hands on one of these. Superb product

Poor adhesive pad
The idea is very good. The only problem is the adhesive pad isn't very strong and it fails very quickly resulting in the whole attachment coming loose

Doesn't fit the shears
I followed the fitting instructions and slotted the box on to the lower shear blade. However, the instructions say to slide the box along to ensure the box is secure. I found it impossible as the box is already seated against the bolts on the shears. I presume it may work if the supplied measuring gauge had been shorter. To try that I have to buy a new kit with no guarantee it would work. I give 1 star for a nice idea. Shame it didn't work. Here I am reviewing my review. I took the advise of the makers and removed the fitting from the shears using a chisel without much difficulty. I refitted it measuring about half an inch shorter than the plastic guide provided. I left it 24 hours and tried it today. It works perfectly now. So, now I think it should be worth 5 stars - that's if it doesn't fall to pieces! I'll take a photo and try and add it to this so it may help anyone interested.

Such a timesaver
A my raised lawn adjoins a curved, gravel path, I spent ages on my hands and knees every week trying to pick the edge clippings out of the gravel. Tried to knock up my own Heath Robinson clippings catcher without much success so went online only to find that someone had already invented one.It does seem expensive for what it is, but it makes up for it in the time and backache saved.Would recommend.
