The True Story of the Three Little Pigs

Great book.
Great book that I've wanted to buy since reading it in a library as a kid... a very funny take on the 3 Little Pigs story, written long before the current trend of reimaging classic storybook villains.

Lovely read
A lovely reading, made my son laugh out loud (which was my intention when i purchased the book). It is funny and a different twist from the story we all know. I would recommend it to anyone.

New angle on a well known tale
The Three Little Pigs as told from the Wolf’s viewpoint. Funny and thought provoking.

Three Little Pigs - an alternative version
A fun alternative version of the story, told from the wolf's perspective. I bought this for my 3-5 year olds as we were exploring different versions of the story. Although they enjoyed it, I would say that it is more suitable for an older age group (7-8 year olds perhaps) and would be a good addition to a literacy unit comparing different versions of the story.

Brilliant book that I think teaches kids about perception or something like that :')
I pulled this out of my head from a vague childhood memory, and as I have two children myself now this was the perfect impulse buy!Still not sure if I bought it for them or for me, but the nostalgia trip was glorious!

Love this book!
I love this book! It's a very clever take on the original "Three Little Pigs" story and the pictures are fun. I've given a copy to my grandson, and just bought a copy for my own collection of children's books. (I'm a former teacher and daycare caregiver and I've read a lot of wonderful children's books in my time, and this is definitely one of my favourites. :-)I've seen some poor reviews here from parents who've said it was a terrible story for 3-year-olds, though, and I tend to agree. In my opinion, this story is better for older children, who can appreciate the twists and jokes in it and the fresh take on the story, and who won't be traumatized by the idea of the wolf being a wolf and eating two of the little pigs. Once they're old enough to understand what the wolf is saying in this story, I think older children, and their parents, will find this story to be quite hilarious. Five stars. One thing that I'm disappointed about is the condition of the paperback when it arrived. Most of the pages were stuck together at the top -- the paper hadn't been cut during production. Even being very careful getting them all apart, most page tops look like the photo I've attached. In all my years of buying paperbacks from Amazon, I have never received a book in such condition. Even the dozens of author copies of my own children's book have arrived in pristine condition. So this is a relatively rare occurrance. I'm glad this book is just for me. If I'd ordered it for a child, I could never have given it in the poor condition it was in. I'd have had to return it. Love the story, but not impressed with Amazon/Kindle Direct Publishing this time around. One star.

Storia alternativa dei 3 porcellini, vista dall'ottica del lupo. Un po'più discorsivo, va bene se si legge insieme
