Some fifteen years ago (2005) I received a Taiyo Octo Spinner 360° remote control car for Christmas. It can fold up on itself, spin, flip, and go really fast. Also quite durable, surviving crashes into trees and walls even at high speed. And the remote control is very simple - two controller levers, one for controlling the left side wheels, one for the right side wheels. Push both levers forward and the Octo Spinner shoots forward. Pull both back, and the car goes in reverse. Push one lever forward and the other back, and the car spins.The Octo Spinner came with a NiCad battery pack. These batteries slowly lose the ability to recharge. When my toy was new, I could get about 8-10 minutes of run time on a charge. Over time, the run time got shorter and shorter, until the original battery would hold a charge for only a minute or so. My Octo Spinner was put on a shelf in a back closet.About 14 years later, enter the 8-year-old and 6-year-old grandsons. One of them saw the Octo Spinner in the closet and asked if he could play with it. I got it out, charged up that old NiCad, and we got about 1 minute of run time before the Octo Spinner slowly stopped. What to do?I searched Amazon and found this Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery for sale at a great price, so I ordered it. It charged just fine in the original charger that came with the Octo Spinner, and it gives about a 15 minute run time. I have put the iMah brand battery through about 30 charging cycles, and it still gives an extended run time, longer than when the Octo Spinner was new! Very happy with this purchase.

got them today, on the charger. They look just fine. Time will tell.

I replaced my 7.5 volts 1000 iMah Nicad for this battery and I got a lot more flying time and power I don’t recommend to do this to any oneI do this to try to get more power on my aero plane taking the risk of burn my motor and plane but until now is working and no damages so my motor can handle this battery I fly 4 or 5 times my plane thank you good battery

Great battery! My son is now able to play with his RC a little longer now. He always has a battery charging.
