OWATROL2.5 litres Seasonite Protection Soft and Wet Wood Maintenance

I have used this in the past on decking and garden furniture, so it was a no-brainer for protection of some new garden furniture. It's expensive, but it really does the job of protecting the wood without 'coating' it. It's very watery, which makes it eask to apply and soak into the end grain. After a season I will add some Textrol for further protection. Awesome stuff!

Coated our new garden office with this. Easy to apply, very watery so watch out. I rollered the vertical cladding to apply it and then filled in the joins with a brush. One 2.5 l container coated our 3.6x5.4 m office leaving a dribble of seasonite left. I will update the review if it isn't a lovely red cedar colour after the winter.

i purchased this item with spray pump so as make this product go further, wasn't disappointed applied easily to shed 10x8.on researching i found this to be a good product and will use other products at a later to date.a little expensive for 2.5 litres but sometimes you have to pay more to get the best.

A must have product for new wood protection till it ages outdoors, I have used this in the past and it has never been a disappointment! very recommended!

Great product

For use with soft woods.Don't bother using with yellow ballau (a hard wood) as it's wasting your time and money on the product. I did, before I called owatrols tech line after rain hit unexpectedly while I was applying (needs 24 hours free of rain).I applied as I was following the advice of timber merchants who said apply and then down the line use textrol. Owatrol say it won't do any harm, I just won't get the full benefit of the product as it can't penetrate fully.For softwoods it'll penetrate and protect for the first season. Just like it says on its tin.If in doubt call owatrol who have excellent tech support and will guide you to the right approach for your wood.I've used other products - owatrol oil and floatrol. Both excellent for oil based and emulsions.Ive given it 5 stars on the basis of their support, although it turns out I wasted hours applying it on yellow ballau. Not their fault. Not the products.
